My name

6 1 1

So it's clear to everyone that I'm Asian, no surprise there, since I wear it with pride and literally created a "yellow" cult, which is, y'know always find to do. It's insane how many cults I have been in and created, but, y'know I'm not complaining in the slightest.

Anyway, to be more specific, I'm a half, Italian, and Chinese. Many people may not know this, but I have a Chinese name to go along with my regular name. Which just adds to the confusion of my real name situation. Weirdly enough, it's even confusing me, because I'm not exactly sure if I technically exist or not. I'll explain that story laterU since I don't even remember if I've posted about before, and who I've told already.

You know what, screw it, imma tell you, and if I did, then you need a reminder, then we'll go back to the original story I had planned.

(If I have already told this story, or you know it but don't wanna read it, ill have a note to tell you when it ends)

So, as everyone knows, my first name is Amy, not Amelia. My sister was the one who named me, and for some reason, it was after a random news lady who was on tv when they were discussing what to name me. My dad really wanted my name to be Ann, and literally, no one was opposed to it, so I have no idea why they didn't just name me Ann, but they didn't. Because my dad loved the name so much, and no one had anything against naming me Amy, they went with naming me Amy Ann Lug.

Lug is of course not my full last name, just the first 3 letters because I need at least a little privacy on the internet.

But I found out that Amy Ann Lug isn't actually my full name. In reality, I don't have a middle name, my first name is Amy-Ann. And the only document that my real first name is on, is my birth certificate.

Now, I don't know how that works out legally. Did Amy-Ann become Amy Ann along the way? did Amy-Ann just disappear and Amy Ann took her place? Does Amy Ann even technically exist? Does Amy-Ann even exist? I have no idea, but all I know is that it's a good story, I can scam a whole lot of people, and that I'm gonna continue to use Amy Ann Lug as my name.

Ok, now back to the main point of this chapter, which I'm pretty sure is only going to take a quarter of the time to read than my last story, but, ehh

So I realized earlier this week, that I didn't know how to write my Chinese name is Chinese, so today I went up to my mother and asked her to teach me. Which those of you curious, it's written like; 阿米 and pronounced like; Ahh-Me, or Ami

She ended up going on a rant about all of my siblings, aunts, uncles, and cousins names, how to write them and the translations. Then she came to mine.

I've known my Chinese name translation for a long time, which is also Ami, and the meaning behind it is, quite simply, little. But today, my mom went deeper into it and compared it to a kitten.

A. Kitten.

My Chinese name translates to an animal that I  honestly have too many things to do with.

I had cat ears, I can make a convincing kitten meow, I constantly have my mood as a cat.

And yet, it causes me so much grief

BECAUSE ALL OF MY FRIENDS CALL ME A FURRY

DAY IN AND NIGHT OUT

ITS A WONDER ONE OF THEM HAVEN'T CHANGED MY NAME TO FURRY IN THEIR PHONE

I PROBABLY JUST GAVE THEM IDEAS

WHATEVER

IF THEY HAVEN'T THOUGHT OF DOING THAT BY NOW

AFTER ALL YEAR OF CALLING ME A FURRY

THEN THEY DON'T DESERVE IT

IM MAD NOW

I DIDN'T CHOOSE THIS LIFE

THIS LIFE CHOSE ME FROM BIRTH

IT WAS MY DESTINY

WELL

IMMA CHUCK IT IN DESTINY' S UGLY FACE

BYE
