The Station was very quiet, and it seemed like a normal evening, until Genna and Jones walked through the station doors bickering about whatever was new news, which was absolutely correct. A new club called the ‘Blue Flamingo’ had opening in the Industrial Area and Jones was convinced it wouldn’t be as brilliant as advertised, while Genna argued not to judge a book by its cover, even if he hasn’t seen it yet. “Oh come on. We don’t need another hot, smoking club in town” Jones said just as they both quickly walked through the main doors and over to their desks, “Well what do you even know about this club?” Genna asked while throwing her jacket over her office chair, not taking her eyes off Jones for a second, “Well, I’ll tell you, that club …” Jones was interrupted by the arrival of Chief King, who rushed in and immediately approached them, “Dearborn, Jones, I need you to check out this address as soon as possible. A man called Dave Simmons said his seen body-parts in the front of a Junkyard garden!” King informed them quickly, while handing Genna a piece of paper with an address. Jones went a little green, “Body parts? In a garden?” he said, already knowing that’s exactly what the Chief said. Genna ignored the look on Jones face and grabbed her coat again and flicked it over her arm, “Come on. We have to check this out!” she said, with slight excitement in her voice. Genna had only solved on murder case and was extremely eager to solve another, while still remembering that it was a real murder investigation, yet in a flash, Genna was already walking straight out the door, leaving Jones behind, running after her, “Hey! Wait for me!”

When the Police car pulled up at the given address, the report from Chief King wasn’t an exaggeration, this garden was really a dump. There was mouldy furniture, graffiti, bicycle and car parts and many others things surrounding the whole place. Jones stepped very carefully as they walked around the crowded garden for these ‘body parts’ Mr Simmons claimed to have seen, but so far, they both came up with nothing but junk. As Genna was looking around some planks of wood, which were placed close to an open window, hoping to find something, but then again, she hoped to find something anywhere she went. Until suddenly, she tripped on a piece of wood, which had fallen of the pile and hid itself in the long, think grass, and as Genna groaned from the shooting pain on her right leg, she looked in-front of her and seen a dirty, cold, bloody hand nearly touching her face. Genna let out a shocking scream and hurled herself to her feet as quickly as possible. Jones sprinted over as soon as he heard the scream and quickly helped Genna up, “Hey, careful. What’s wrong?” he asked, looking at the terrified look on Genna’s face, “Our Mr Simmons wasn’t kidding. Look” Genna replied, while pointing over at the hand, lying right next to the planks of wood. When Jones spotted the hand, he started going green himself, “Oh my God … it’s a hand ….” Jones cut himself of so he wouldn’t puke in disgust. Genna pulled herself together and pulled Jones out of sight from the hand, “Get on the radio and get a team down here. I’m going to look inside.” Genna ordered Jones, then started carefully walking to the front door, which made Jones sigh, “Hold on, wait for me”

The place was covered in cobwebs and dirt, a real dump. As Genna took one step inside, she felt very uncomfortable and it wouldn’t settle until she was safe back at the Station, but knowing she couldn’t do that, she pushed on and walked slowly inside. Jones was following very close to Genna, taking he exact steps as she walked, which wasn’t Jones main problem, he started wondering about the rest of the body, where was it? His train of thought was interrupted by Genna, “Let’s split up. I’ll take the lounge and the kitchen. You take the bedrooms and the Bathrooms”. Jones nodded, partly glad that he didn’t have to look at the kitchen and lounge, for he believed that murdered bodies were normally found in kitchens. But Jones beliefs were very short lived as he opens the Bathroom door to see a naked, one handed man placed in the bathtub, with the window wide open. Jones nearly had a fit when he saw the body, “Genna! Genna! Gen …” before Jones could finish yelling, he fainted in the doorway. “Jones!” Genna yelled as she approached her unconscious partner, until she looked in the bathroom and spotted the body for herself. Genna didn’t faint or speak, she just ran out the house in a flash and radioed Ramirez and quickly as her voice could speak, and as quickly as Ramirez could actually understand.
