I started to unpack all of my stuff when Zabdi came in and jumped on my bed.
Zabdiel: How do you think school is going to be like?
Zabdi was the only person that I talked to. I barely talked to mom since what happened. Zabdi was like the best friend that I never had. I was always that "weird" shy girl. Zabdi was the popular one. He always made friends in an instant. Even though I was that girl I lived a pretty ok life, I guess you can say I was happy most of the time. Then it all just went away.
Lizeth: A nightmare.
Zabdiel: Oh come on it won't be like that! Do you think we are gonna be able to make friends fast?
Lizeth: You will! Me on the other hand...
I said then he interrupted me giving a disappointed look.
Zabdiel: I'm sick of this! Come on Liz! Stop it already! Look I know how you feel but you need to get back to the real world. Be an actual teenager again!
Lizeth: No you don't know how I feel! I think about it every night and sometimes I cry myself to sleep! Also I was never apart of the real world! You were! So don't come in here telling me what to do when you don't know how I feel.
He then got up with a sadness in his face that broke my heart. He left the room and I ran to shut the door. I felt an amaze sadness and before I knew it I started to cry and sat down leaning my back on the door.
A few minutes passed and I decided to take a shower. I always like to go to bed feeling fresh. When I got out of the shower I waited till my hair dried and I went to bed. Zabdi's room was next to mine and the walls weren't very thick so that's when I hear him say...
Zabdiel: Goodnight Liz.
A light smile appeared on my face but I didn't reply. I put my headphones on, blasted the music and fell asleep.
The next morning Zabdi came running into my room and jumped on top of me. It was a tradition. He was always my alarm clock!
Zabdiel: Good morning! Rise and shine.
I pushed him over and got up without saying anything. I realized how mean it was of me to do that and I found myself still being mad a him for last night. He noticed so he just got up and left to get ready.
That morning I decided to wear a shirt that that Said "I hate Mondays" which it's true and it was perfect since it was Monday. I wore it with a black and white stripped blouse, and some bootie shorts. I knew they were a little shorted than I'm used to but I decided to wear them anyways. Then I put my white shoes and changed the case on my phone. (Picture above^) I decided to go with a different look today so I left my hair down except for a small ponytail. Then I topped it with a little bow and put some light color makeup on. I grabbed my sun glasses and ran down stairs where Zabdi was waiting for me to go to school. We got in the car and left.
When we got there I found myself to be extremely nervous. We went to the office and all of a sudden I notice everyone staring at us, well actually staring at Zabdi. Girls were giggling and boys were just starring. When we got to the office we met with the principal and he called someone to show us around.
X: Mr. S did you call for me.
Mr. Sharp: Mr.sharp... -he corrected him- and yes Erick come on in! This are our new students and I would like for you to give them a tour of the school and show them their classes. I will give you a pass for first period.
Erick: With pleasure!
Mr. Sharp gave Erick our schedules and we headed off.
Zabdiel: Hi I'm Zabdiel and this is my sister Lizeth.
Erick: Nice to meet you, and Hola hermosa!
He said referring to me with a handshake and a huge smile. I just gave him a little smile back.
He then gave us a tour and I think he was kind of flirting with me but I couldn't really tell.
Erick: Lizeth this is your first class. Here I'll introduce you to your teacher.
He opened the door for me like such a gentlemen and he introduced me to my biology teacher, Mr. Frank. Mr. Frank then told me to take a sit next to a girl named Samantha and so I did. But I felt a pair of eyes on me. Well actually everyone's eyes were on me.
I sat down and someone touched my shoulder making me turn around.
X: Hi. I'm Joel. Nice to meet you.
He said with a big smile.
