The secret

Chapter 6

The coach blew the whistle meaning that the game was over, that practice was over.

Coach: Girls, come here! Huddle up! Come on move it! - everyone they huddled around the coach- Ok I have an announcement! I'm gonna add another practice into the schedule this week! I think we can really use it before the game next week! -she said yelling so that everyone could hear her- I also want to welcome out new teammate, Lizeth!

Everyone just cheered and clap.

Lizeth: Wait! I made it?

Coach: Yea you did!

Lizeth: AWESOME!! -I said with excitement-

I made the team. I was so happy! Soccer always manages to take my mind off of my problems.

Coach: Ok girls! Well this was a good practice! Remember we are meeting tomorrow again. Also I have the new schedule right here. I made some changes to it before our next few games. So come and grab it. -Everyone went and grabbed one off the Coach's hand- Ok well that's it! Have a good rest of the day!

We all said bye to the coach and I couldn't help but smile! I was so happy. Veronica and Melissa where complementing me on the moves out in the field and then we saw Clair, Vanessa and Melany run our way!

Melany: OMG!  YOU WERE AMAZING! Did you make it?

Lizeth: Yea I did!

Then we all screamed! I saw that the boys were finishing up and were huddling around the coach.

Veronica: Let's go with the boys!

While we were walking to go with the boys I saw some girls sitting in the bench. They looked really pretty. They were looking at the boys while talking and giggling.

Clair: Oh my god! They are here again! -she said rolling her eyes-

Lizeth: Who are they? -I asked confused-

Vanessa: They are the "popular" girls. -she said with a disgusted look in her face and making bunny ears when she said popular.-

Lizeth: Wait I thought you guys were the popular girls?

Veronica: No. Technically they are. We can never pull off being them. We are nothing like that! -She said rolling her eyes with a disgusted face-

Lizeth: Wait, I though you guys said that only the popular girls hang with them so I though you guys meant you?

Melany: No girl. I mean only the popular girls and us. We just known the guys since middle school and we are really close. We are like brothers, sisters and best friends. I know that Veronica here would rather be something else with a guy named Christopher. -she said with this face on >>😏-

Veronica: Shut up! - She said frustrated-

We all just giggled and continued to walk towards the boys. I saw Zabdiel beginning to run towards me.

Lizeth: DID YOU MAKE IT? -I said referring to Zabdiel-

Zabdiel: YESSS!!!

I just screamed and jumped on him. He just spinned me around.

Zabdiel: What about you? -He just said putting me down-

Lizeth: I did too!

Then he picked me up again and hugged me. The girls were just laughing and the boys were heading our way.

Yoyo: Those were some really impressive moves out there! -he said talking about me-

Lizeth: Really?

Joel: Yea! You were amazing!

My cheeks just turned a rosy pick color when he said that.

Jaime: Hey, I got an idea! Why don't we go somewhere to celebrate? How about bowling?

Vanessa: Yea! Let's do it! It will be fun!

Everyone just agreed and Zabdiel told me that he was gonna text mom to let her know.

Joel: You know, that was really impressive!

Lizeth: Thanks! -I said still blushing-

We all got in our separate cars and drove there. The whole car ride I was blasting music and singing with Melany and Melissa who came with me and Zabdi. I saw Melany stare and Zabdi a couple of times and just laughed. She definitely likes him! Veronica went on Christopher's car. Obviously! Clair went on Johann'a car and the rest split into others. When we got there everyone ran to the door with excitement. Joel then opened the door for me and I said thank you. Still blushing.

Zabdiel: I haven't seen you smile and be this sociable in a long time. I like it. -He said with a big smile while whispering into my ear.-

Lizeth: I like it too! -I smiled and whispered back-

We all got everything. Our shoes and some snacks. Everyone just split into two different sections since there was 14 of us we just split the best we could. Joel sat next to me and we all just talked and fooled around. Chris was bragging because he was in the lead and everyone was making jokes. Those two lemonades I drank got to me because I had to go to the bathroom.

Lizeth: I'll be right back. I have to got the the bathroom. -I whispered into Joel's ear and he just nodded with a smile. -

I was having so much fun with them! I haven't done this in a long time well actually ever. I felt so comfortable around all of them. I was always the quiet weird girl and I'm happy they don't see me that way. Then what Zabdiel said popped into my head. About me being sociable and everything came back! I haven't thought about what happened, about what I did all day today. I felt so good around them, around Joel that I forgot about everything. What was I thinking? I mean they are gonna find out eventually! Did I think that they would just be ok with it? About what I did? No one would! Zabdiel does because he was there he knows somewhat how hard it was for me to do that. To experience that! I shouldn't get so attached! Once I tell them or they find out they are not gonna look at me the same way! They will never talk to me again. They will be scared of me! I can't get attached to them. Lizeth, what are you doing!? I promised myself that I wouldn't get socially again for that reason because once they find out... I don't know why would happen. What would Joel think?

Tears just kept falling down my face till the point that I was sobbing! I had to get out of here. I wouldn't be here kidding myself.

I walked out the bathroom while wiping the tears away and went straight to Zabdiel.

Lizeth: Hey, I'm gonna go home! Stay here, I'll just call an Uber. - I whispered into his ear. I could still feel a knot in my throat. -

He turned around and noticed I was crying.

Zabdiel: Are you ok? What happened?

Lizeth: Nothing Zabdi! Just stay here! -I just said and walked away with tears in my eyes-

I turned once more and I saw Joel whispering something into Zabdiel's ear and then I heard someone running my way.

Hey guys. Sorry I didn't post yesterday like I said I would.😒 I feel really bad. So to make it up to y'all. I will be uploading two more chapters tomorrow instead of only one. Really sorry again! But I will be posting everyday from now on. Well I hope y'all like it! :)
