"PLEASE STOP!" I yell as David continues to grab me.

He grabs my wrists and hurts them very badly. "When will you learn to shut up?!" He says through his teeth.

He throws me down and sits on top of me. He's such a retard that he let go of my wrists. "FUCK YOU!" I say and punch him as hard as I can.

He falls over and I attempt to run away. I trip over something just like in the movies. This is not a movie so I'm smart enough to not stay on the floor.

To my surprise he grabs a hold of my hair and smashes me into his mirror. "You sneaky little bitch. Thought you could get away huh?!" He yells and slaps me.

He continues to kick and punch me as I'm on the floor. I can no longer breath as easy as I was able to 5 seconds ago.

I grab a piece of glass and jab it into his arm. "FUCKIN BITCH!" He yells and tries to get the glass out.

I start run all the way home which was about 1/2 a mile away. I had lost my shoes in what was happening and it was freezing. My body aches but I know for damn sure I am not stopping.

I look behind me and David is there holding his arm. Why doesn't he just give up?! He's trying to catch up to me but he is too far behind.

I finally reach my house and lock my door. I try to call the police but my asshole of a dad cuts the phone connection once again.

I hear banging on the front door but there is no way David can break down my door. "Mom?!" I yell and I feel tears rolling down my face. "Mom?! Where are you?!" I yell louder and walk upstairs.

I can't find my mom anywhere upstairs nor downstairs. Where did she go?! I walk to the front door and look through the peephole. David has left for now.

I realize my house is not safe anymore. David knows I'm here most of the time. Especially because no one liked me and I was always alone. He won't hurt my mom so I think it's okay if I run away.

I run upstairs and grab a small backpack. I only need enough stuff to get to the train station and maybe I could sneak on the train.

I pack clothes and a pair of shoes and run back downstairs. I decide to leave a note for my mom. It's not explaining much but at least she'd know I'm safe.

Mom, I love you so much but I can't take it anymore. I'm fine on my own now. I know I'm only 14 but what's the difference? You were never there so it's the same damn thing. Thanks for nothing.. No matter how much crap you put me through, I'll always love you. Bye.

I leave the note on the table and walk out through the back. To my luck, David isn't there. I start walking because my body can't take running anymore.

I walked for at least 3 miles already. The train station is on the other side of town. It looks like I'm spending the night in a box or something. I can't think straight. I didn't realize this before but I'm having major trouble breathing. I walk for two more miles and I see a police car.

I try to walk by it casually but it doesn't work considering that I'm limping.

"Excuse me ma'am, are you alright?" The policeman asks me.

"Uhh yea I'm fine." I say and try to walk away but he stops me again.

"What's your name?"

"Iris. Iris Gonzalez."

The policeman speaks into his radio. "Officer Ramirez speaking, suspect found." He says and my heart starts racing. "Young lady you're coming with me to an orphanage. I will explain everything but please get in the car."
