I'm me... Is that good enough?

Chapter 3- FIGHT! FIGHT!Fight!

ZILLIANAS POV:

After Regina walked away, I slipped away to class. I can't believe they said i was beautiful. I looked at my hands and blushed when i remembered what had happened with them. I walked into my biography class only to be fussed at and gave a detention by Mr.Larrison. At first i was just like whatever and then realized this was my first detention and it was not even my fault.

All eyes were on me boys flirted with me and asked for my number while girls wanted to be my best friend. Even Mr.Larrison asked if i was a new student, when i told him it was me the whole class gasped and their jaws dropped to the floor. The bell then wrong signaling us to go to lunch.

As soon as when i walked through the doors a flying chair came my way making me have to duck. Then i heard my brother Derricks all to familiar voice "What did you say to me?". I looked to see a crowd forming around Derrick and a jock named Ven. " I said that you are just the love child from your fathers little affair" Ven replied smirking. Derrick smirked and said " So did you mom ever find out if Kenny or Phillip was your dad?" Ven's smile disappeared and he swung on Derrick hitting him hard in the face. 

Derrick hardly flinched as he said "Ouch that actually hurt. Well now it's my turn" Derrick started pounding Ven's face as they wrestled on the floor Derrick ending up on top. "Fight fight fight!" The crowd yelled. I could not bare as the blood splashed to the ground i was going to walk back out the door when  i heard a blood curling scream. I was use to screams whenever Derrick fought which was often because he beat the life out of people but what made my face turn white and my body shake was that it was Derricks scream.

I ran as fast as i could and pushed to the front of the crowd where everyone was to shocked and scared to notice. When i got there i saw why. There was another guy and he was Ven's best friend. He was holding up a pocket knife covered in blood. Afraid to look down i forced my head down to see Derrick clutching his chest blood running from under his fingers. "DERRICK!!" I yelled running to aid him. I was slapped back against the concrete by Ven who also pulled out a knife. That's when i looked at Derrick and saw him close his eyes and open them. His beautiful Sapphire blue/grey eyes were no longer there. Instead his eyes were a red blood color and he looked paler then ever even though he was a pretty tanned guy i figured he was paler because of the stab wound but his eyes scared the crap out of me.

He was no longer laying down clutching his chest in fact he was advancing toward Ven who jabbed at him with the knife. Derrick easily  caught his hand and twisted it while staring into his eyes. The other guy came behind him attempting to stab him off guard and then in a flash was on the ground with Drew on top off him. The crowd was still staring when usually would be running from the fact of the knifes it was just the point of someone had actually STABBED Derrick the most dangerous guy in school.

"Everybody get out" Drew said calmly. No one moved. "I said GET OUT!" he yelled. Most  the school scattered out, Except for the jocks who were friends with Ven. "Maybe yo didn't here him but if you don't get out i will rip your head off your shoulders with my teeth". Derrick threatened .The Jocks snorted. And Drew and Derrick both looked at them and fear radiated through the jocks and they ran out. I looked closer at Drew to realize his eyes were no longer there color either they were also red. I gasped and quickly covered my mouth. Derricks eyes snapped towards me and i backed up against a pole in the cafeteria.  His eyes regained there color and his face saddened and returned to there normal pale color.

"Zanna.. your not going to want to see this so leave" Drew pleaded. "I'm not going to let you do something your going to regret Derrick I love you to much!" I begged crying my heart out. "Drew take her home i will handle these too" Derrick said turning away from me. "NO!" I yelled as Drew hesitated and threw me over his shoulder. And just as we were walking out i heard Derrick whisper "I love you too sis" Then i heard the deafening scream off Ven and his friend and then silence.

We were in Drew's Porsche boxster it had been silent since we left the school. "Sooo whats up" Drew said. "What's up with you and Derricks eyes?" I asked. "Are you hungry?" Drew said trying to change the subject. "Answer me why were your eyes red?" I pushed. "Umm... Allergies?" Drew said. "Oh really how dumb do you think i am" I yelled. "Whats the scale?" Drew asked. "FORGET YOU!" i yelled and unbuckled my seat belt as the car was still driving. "You can't and where are you going?" He asked looking at me.

I opened the door and jumped out onto the road. The tires of his Porsche screeched as he parked and got out. "What the hell Zilly get in the car" he said. "NO!" I yelled walking into the trees. "Don't expect me to come and get you out when you get lost in there" he said. "Whatever" I said walking deeper in. "Zilly I'm counting to three" he said. "Oh you can count?" i asked still not stopping. "Ha ha very funny now One" I kept walking. "Two..". I walked faster. "Three" I looked back to see him walking towards me. I was a great deal ahead of him so i didn't care that's in till i heard his footsteps grow heavier and looked back to see him running towards me. I screamed and ran as fast as i could in the woods. He kept getting closer and i had a feeling he wasn't even running as fast as he could. I started zigzagging dashing into trees to lose him. I looked back he wasn't there. "Phew!" i breathed and faced the front of me. Bumping into someone as there grabbed my wrists. "AAH!" I screamed and looked to see Drew smirking.

I rolled my eyes and said "How did you get here that fast... like in the cafe!". "You... Er.. went in a.. circle and as for the cafe i was standing beside you this whole time." Lies I thought as i looked around to see a unfamiliar part of the woods. I looked at the sky then heard Drew say "You know..." I shuddered at how close he was i could feel his breath on my neck. "A little girl like you shouldn't be in the woods with such a bad guy like me" he said. My eyes widened as i remembered how dangerous he was he was bad boy #2 for crying outloud! I tried to play it off cool though. "Pssh Oh yeah what could you possibly do kill me? Rape me? " I said sticking my nose in the air. "Hmm maybe yo know its not rape if you like it" He said and i could tell he was smirking. I turned to face him and smacked him on the face "Ouch relax babe I'm joking" Drew said. "If you did Derrick would kill you" I said smiling "I mean your after all only second place"

"Oh is that really how you feel? Well guess what Missy if i were you id be careful what you say to me your brother ain't as sweet as you think he is" Drew  said glaring at me. "Ohhh i'm so scared Drew you don't scare me " I said walking away. I was then slammed into the tree and Drew was in the position we was in school on the lockers. "Oh trust me you should be" he said as his face inched towards mine. I closed my eyes as i expected him to kiss me. "You should be afraid because..." he began and i can feel and smell almost TASTE his minty breath on my lips. "I drive really fast" he said laughing while pulling me and going back to the car.

DREW'S POV: She looked disappointed when i did not kiss her. It was cute what she said did not offend me though I knew Derrick was more dangerous then me but i didn't mind he was like a brother to me and he loves Zilly very much so i knew he'd kill me without hesitation if i hurt her. But i wondered how for all these years his family did not know what he is. None of them are what he is because they only have the same dad who was human while Derricks mom turned out to be a full blooded vampire. I pulled into her driveway and just before she got out i said " One day i will finish what i started" and winked at her. She blushed and ran inside i swear that girl was going to make me lose my mind.
