Dad trouble

Chapter 13:

Kayla’s P.O.V.

When we finally reached my house, we were greeted at the door by my mom, dad, Tina and what?!! Yassi?!!! I didn't know she was going to be here!!!!

I hugged each and every one of them, realizing just how much I missed each of them.

Heading inside, we all sat down on the couch and I decided now was the perfect time to tell my dad, Yassi, Tina the news.

"Mom, dad, Tina, Yassi… we have news," I said, looking at Justin.

“We are all ears," my mom said, winking at me. I smiled in return.

“I am… umm… I am…" I stuttered.

“YOU’RE having a baby?" Tina guessed.

I and Justin busted into laughter.

"No, uhh... no. No, I'm Justin's girlfriend," I said, looking at Justin. He smiled back at me.

“You’re kidding?" Yassi said.

“Nope.”

“Wow I'm happy for you!! I knew this was going to happen!!" she said, grinning.

"Justin told me this was going to happen!!!! I'm so happy," Tina said.

“I’m sorry Kayla," my dad broke in.

“What are you talking about?"

“I’m not going to let you date him Kayla," dad said seriously.

“Dad! But… but I love him," I said, looking down.

“Come here. I want to talk to you in private.”

My dad grabbed my hand and led me out to the garden.

Justin’s P.O.V.

“I’m not going to let you date him Kayla," Kayla’s dad Lou said.

I felt my heart break instantly. I just got her and now this happens?!!

“Dad. But....but I love him.”

“Come here. I want to talk to you in private."

He grabbed her hand and guided her to out into the garden.

Why didn’t Lou want Kayla t date me? What have I done wrong?!! I needed to know.

Making my excuses, I left my mom, Alicia, Tina and Yassi sitting in the living room, silent and in shock, to follow Kayla and her dad.

Sneaking into the garden, I quietly hid behind some bushes, needing to know why Lou didn't want me to date her...

“KAYLA, HE Is A Celebrity!!! HE IS probably only with YOU Because He wants TO DO IT with you," Lou shouted angrily.

“Dad....he is not like that," Kayla said and I smiled, happy that she would stand up for me.

“That is enough!! I let you be his stupid dancer, but this is going too far young lady!!! "

“But dad…" I saw tears forming in her eyes. I didn't want to see her cry.

As I saw her tears begin to fall, I couldn't take it anymore. I stepped out from behind the bushes and stood behind Lou.

“Justin what are you doing here?" Kayla said, sniffing. Lou turned around.
