Hey guys, its kyrah, so todays blog is actually not going to be about my day... Its going to be a #storytime session. I'll try doing a story time once a week if you guys really like it. Also, before i begin, i just realised that i forgot to tell you guys that this is all real. None of this is made up, thus, thats the main reason i wanna stay anonymous. Now lets get on with the story... So basically, my very first dance happen many months ago (in 8th grade *im now in ninth*). I was hoping to get asked out by my crush (im naming him Shay cause why not) !not his real name! So we'd been speaking a lot since the beginning of the year, and he's pretty cute (im kinda blushing 🙈) so around one month before the summer dance, everyone had started talking about it. People were starting to ask eachother out, buy clothes, and started the overview planning. Im not sure why, but Shay and i both completely avoided the topic. I did try bringing it up one time, but he just swiftly changed the topic. So i was completely shattered. I assumed that he had no intention of asking me out, and just wanted to stay friends. The next two weeks i was really cold with him, and tried to avoid him as much as possible. I didn't have many (basically none) friends at the time, and so i had no one to help me. Then, suddenly, i think around one and a half weeks before the dance, he did a promposal (a prom proposal cause like the dance was basically like prom). I literally had no words, for the first time around him i was caught speechless. He had gathered five guys from the football team, who had the letters D-A-N-C-E, while he held the question mark (?). I was baffled!!! I had a million thoughts, and i just couldn't move. The whole school had gathered around, and were waiting for my response. I could her the buzz and whispering around me, and tears came to my eyes. This was the first time that they were tears of joy. I ran to Shay and hugged after processing it for two whole minutes. The crowd started cheering as we hugged. It was literally the best day of my life. I know that you guys may have seen such pictures and videos on YouTube, Instagram or even only in movies, but i swear to god, this happend to me. This event was a real life changer for me, because we started dating right after that🙈 he is nicest, kindest and funniest guy i know. We've now been dating nine months strong💕 this also helped me get friends, because a lot of people just thought that i had no interest in getting to know anyone... (I do wanna make more friends) so now id say my life is pretty good at the moment, and i have three great besties, and many amazing close friends :)
