"That's none of your business...." He shook his head angrily.

"The fuck it is, who is he?" He whispered yelled at me.

"Who the fuck was that red head in your room last night? Huh?" His face turned shocked, before he could say anything, I jumped off the examination bed in the check up room.

"Yeah...I thought so."

I ran out the office, searching my way for a back door. I needed air.

Once I finally found the back way, I picked one of the fenced paths and took it, not caring where it took me.

I reached a clearing that was a good distance away from the castle. It was an open meadow, but in the middle of it was a tan gazebo. Rose Vines crawled up the outside, but flowers and herbs still grew in front of the prickling roses. The meadow was green with beauty, and the meadow rose into a waterfall just left of the gazebo.

I walked inside and sat on the white cushion, picking petals off of a rose. Feeling how soft the petal was made me envious, envious how beautiful and soft a rose is, but it's stem has so many thorns that hurt people when they finally grab it....

"Beautiful, aren't they?" A lilac voice carried itself to me. Looking over, the lady sat next to me and smiled warmly. I swiveled to face her, not meeting her eyes quite yet.

"Isn't it funny, how such a beautiful thing has such violent roots? Even painful?" I heard the Vines rustle when the picking noise sounded.

"No rose can get rid of those thorns herself, but that doesn't mean somebody else couldn't." My eyes raised in surprise and in accusation, did she know...?

The lady sitting in front of me was beautiful. She had medium length brown hair that had a soft curl going on. She had on a pair of jeans and a blue t-shirt, with a pair of black flats, a heart necklace adorned her neck.

Her eyes were an icy blue, her complexion was pale. Her lips were a bit thin but they were curled into a soft smile.

"I don't think we've met, I'm Clary Moon, and you must be Hazel." My eyes widened. This is Luq's mom?! How...

"That was a bit direct, I'm sorry. Is everything ok sweetheart? Your pain practically drips from your eyes."

She reached up and grabbed an escaped tear with her thumb, placing her hand back on her own leg.

"I....I have a question..?" She nodded, smiling a bit more now that I was talking. "Do...do you know a tall re head lady? Has really fancy makeup?"

She nodded and rolled her eyes. "I don't approve of her, I know her intentions don't mean well. She knows she's not his mate, but she keeps pushing him. He is not very fond of her."

Why was she in his room then...?

She nodded, and placed her hand on my shoulder. "Well, I see you have alot of thinking to do." She stood up and walked down the stairs, before turning to me with a smile.

"I know my son well, and I know he would give up his Alpha title for you. Give him his chance to explain, with proof."

And with that, she left me.

I moved towards the waterfall, I ended up putting my legs in the water and let the ripples dance around my calves.

I've been here for a few hours now. When I was outdoors, I didn't mind how long I stayed out.

I heard shoes being taken off behind me, and swishing of pant legs. Hairy man legs dipped into the water next to me, but I never raised my head. He placed his hand gently on top of mine, but I instead placed my head on his shoulder and closed my eyes, his arm reached behind my back and held me closer while his hand played with my fingers between us.
