His Legend Mate

Chapter 9

When I woke up, I used all my power in avoiding Luqas. I can't face him right now, I am not ready to talk to him about it yet. I walked straight into the shower without looking at him, I held a smile and pretended I didn't know what he was talking about when he asked.

I got dressed and put an extra pep to my step, tip toeing around everyone to avoid a conversation. For the next few days, I would go into the kitchen and help cook and clean, or I would clean my room, or excercised with headphones in.

The Luna and Alpha came back home soon after, but I didn't see much of them. While I was cleaning a counter top, a very perky Rebecca and Wane skipped into the kitchen.

"Hazel! Rebecca and I were gonna go out tonight, were going to karaoke night! No alcohol though, sadly...your coming!" My mouth opened, but nothing came out. I didn't want to go, honestly, but before I could protest, both of the little deviants ran out.

I pulled out my options and lay them on my bed, inspecting them quietly to myself, debating on which was the nicest but most conservative.

The first option was actually a one piece, plain black bathing suit with a built in bra. Jeans would slide over them and a jean jacket would go over my shoulders, paired with blue sneakers.

The second option was a plain blue dress that had a little floof to move with, paired with black flats.

And the third option was a long sleeve black turtle neck with a pair of jeans and boots.

I went ahead and did my makeup simple but noticeable, my hair was put up into a 'messy' bun, I wore a robe to cover myself while I contemplated my styling decisions.

My door flew open, and in came both want and Rebecca, stopping to take in the view of my room. I shook my head and crossed my arms, not daring to look at the two who invaded in a space, that wasn't supposed to be invaded in the first place.

Rebecca tapped me on the shoulder, still looking around the room. Ignoring her, I grabbed the bathing suit outfit and slammed my closet door, probably snapping them out of their reverie.

When I came back out, Luqas stood there, towering over the two, who were sitting on my bed looking like puppies that just got in trouble. "She didn't want anyone in her room, it took me as being an exception to come in here. You should've knocked and waited!"

Both nodded, their necks were barred towards their soon-to-be Alpha. "You two disobeyed your future Luna's wishes. She's not going with you two tonight, you two are staying home for the next week."

They both nodded and in unison, "yes alpha." They both murmured apologies and headed out. I gave him a weird look. "I only made a few new friends here, don't drive them away please." He threw his hands up a bit.

"Well, I am still their Alpha. If they disobeyed your wishes or my orders, they need to know that. They won't stop being your friend, but they won't be allowed outside of the castle for a week."

I nodded, pursing my lips in thought. "But that doesn't mean you can't go out, so tonight, is our first official, unofficial date." He was wearing casual wear, but he seemed more 'cleaned up' than normal.

"Alright, I guess. But where are you taking me tonight, Alpha Moon?" He smirked, eyes shifting black for a moment before they returned blue.

"Alpha Moon? Hm?" He stalked towards me, and I backed up until my back hit the door to the bathroom, his hand rested on the wall next to me, he was so close I could feel his breathing on my face. He trapped me between his body and the wall, but not close enough to where he was suffocating me.

"Maybe..." His head went into the crook of my neck, he slowly but lightly kissed my neck, crawling his way up my jaw until he reached the corner of my lips. My head tilted backwards, eyes closing, letting myself enjoy how amazing his lips felt on my neck. Pulling back a little, he reached my ear.
