Can You Trust Me?

Jungkook told Jimin everything about him and Taehyung's relationship in the future. Except the fact that he didn't tell Jimin that he's going to be Yoongi's future fiancé in 2 years. And the fact that Namjoon and Jin will be married when Jin turned 32.

"So you're saying I was the one who told you that Taehyung's cheating?! Oh my god. Curse you future self!" Jimin said as he point to himself.

'If I told Jimin hyung about his relationship with Yoongi hyung then the way he look at him will change. I don't want to drag them into this mess.' Jungkook thought looking at the older who kept on pointing himself.

"Ah, hyung! Please help me!" Jungkook suddenly exclaimed that made Jimin surprised.

"W-what is it?!"

"Tonight! Taehyung hyung will confess tonight!" Jungkook said. Jimin looked at him in shock.

"What?! What do we do?!"

"I don't know! But I want to reject him tonight! I don't want to experience that again!" Jungkook said on the verge of tears.

Jimin frowned at him, "But.. wouldn't that hurt Taehyung?"

"Hyung!! He cheated on me! Twice! There's no way I can forgive him!"

"But Jungkook, that was bastard future Taehyung. This one is innocent past Taehyung who will get hurt without knowing anything." Jimin said to the younger whose eyes softened.

"But... hyung.. I just don't wanna.. get hurt anymore.." Jungkook said as tears fall from his eyes.

"I understand, Jungkook. But shouldn't he at least know? He still doesn't deserve to get hurt just like that." Jimin said calming the younger in front of him who's bawling his eyes.

"I know! But I don't want to tell him! If I talk to him I will remember all the lies he said and I might..." Jungkook said crying helplessly.

"I know.. hush.. Now, if you reject Taehyungie, reject him nicely okay?" Jimin said feeling sorry for his best friend who's heart will be broken tonight.

———-5 years ago (from the future, so like same day now just the past past)———-

"It's going to be alright Taehyung! I can see it in Jungkook's eyes! He loves you too!" Jimin said encouraging his best friend.

"I hope so. B-but what if he doesn't love me that way? W-what should I do, Jiminie?" Taehyung said worried about what might happen if the maknae rejects him.

"Stop thinking about negative thoughts! I see the way Jungkook look at you! He definitely loves you! Believe me okay?! Even if he reject you, you have to accept it in the nicest way possible okay?" Jimin said making his best friend feel better. Taehyung nodded, still worried he might get rejected.

"I'll do it!" Taehyung said before going to Jungkook. And Jimin gave him a 'fighting!' gesture.

Taehyung sighed as he played with his fingers while approaching Jungkook who is happily chatting with Jin.

"H-hyung, may I borrow Jungkook for a bit?" Taehyung asked Jin who smiled and let Taehyung have his space on the couch. He also gave Taehyung a 'fighting!' gesture, knowing what will happen. He happily walked to his boyfriend who's chatting with Hoseok and Yoongi.

"Umm. Hey.." Taehyung awkwardly said and he cursed himself for it.

"Hey? What's up, hyung?" Jungkook asked as he looked at the elder.

Taehyung cleared his throat and started speaking, "The truth is.. I've always been in love with you. Ever since we were trainees, I've always like you. I like your shyness, your boldness, your innocence, your-"

Jungkook shut the older up by giving him a chaste kiss.

Jungkook blushed, so does Taehyung.

"I love you!" Taehyung said looking at the younger.

"I.. I love you too!" Jungkook said blushing as Taehyung hug him.

For them, it's the happiest night of their lives..

Jungkook reminiscing was interrupted by Taehyung. "Mind if I sit?"

Jungkook only nodded and sips to his drink.

"Happy birthday, Jungkook." Taehyung greeted while Jungkook replied with a small 'thanks'.

"Umm.. The truth is.. I've always been in love with you. Ever since we were trainees, I've always like you—"

"I'm sorry, hyung.. I don't like you that way.."

For them, it's the worst night of their lives..
