Chapter Fifty Two

I walk away from Joel as quick as I can, then I feel someone grab my arm and pull me back, as I turn I see it's Joel he kisses me and we says bye again, I give him one last kiss, he turns and walks away. I didn't want him to see he had hurt me. He's the fourth person to leave me in like two months, am I really that bad??? I look at my phone and decide I want to text Jade and see if she wants some girl time. I know she's been spending a lot of time with Jason, I have this gut feeling something maybe going on with them two again, but I don't actually know even if there is or isn't, but if there was anything between them,I would be happy for them.
'Hey bitch it's been a week you ok?' I smile I know that voice anywhere, guess there no need to text her now, I turn round and see Jade walking towards me.
'Hi Jade, Umm Joel leaving so I've been better'
'Oh shit Marie you sure you're ok?'
'Have to be'
'Well I guess this means Netflix and chill' she grabs my hand, we head to the store. Ten minutes later we leave with ice cream, Doritos and popcorn. She always knows how to cheer me up, I am so glad she's here for me. Marc has gone to his Mum's to give us some privacy. Just before we start our Netflix movie marathon my phone goes off -

Joel - princess ty for the last month you was amazing I will never forget you. I'll be bk for u soon. Please know whatever you hear I did love you. And I won't give up on u, I swear I'll be bk 🖤
Me - awww Joel I'll miss you so much 💋💋

I don't know if he'll be back or not, but in all honesty I was glad to have the distraction from Will, yeah I know I will have to break the news to him I've slept with one of he's friends, but I was trying to get over Will and move on with my life, in my heart I know Will will be back, but I am not sure he'll be back for me. I keep having these dreams of him happy with a blonde girl, I kinda hope I am wrong, but I always go with my gut feeling, and at this moment it's telling me Will would be better off with someone else.
