I woke up. I didn't like the dark or the silence that surrounded me. I hated it due to an abusive father who'd strike on the darkest of hours and quietest of times. I began to shake with fear. My best friend rolled over and saw me shaking. She held me and calmed me down. I relaxed within the safety of her arms. I slowly drifted back to sleep. When I woke up we were landing. I got my stuff and rushed off the plane. I swear claustrophobia strikes at the worst times.

I waited for the rest of the girls so we could go get our baggage. We grabbed our bags and into the bus we went. I was excited to be in London. Besides the fact we were here playing softball I was also a major Harry Potter nerd. I wore RavenClaw colours proudly. I walked into the hotel with the girls and we were instantly surrounded by fans and paparazzi. I hated this part. Pushing past the paparazzi not being able to speak to the fans was hell. We loved to sign softballs, jerseys, and other items. We hated not being able to do so. We made it to our rooms and I hit the bed hard. Jet Lag was hell. I shut my eyes to fall back asleep and got woke up 30 minutes later.

"Alex! We have practice! Let's go!" I heard my friends cry out. I changed and grabbed my bag. I met them outside and we drove off to HornChurch to play. Little was I aware of the girl I'd meet and the journey I'd take.  I rushed onto the field and started fielding pop flys and grounders. I went up to bat and crushed a few over the fence well I regretted it. Cause I heard the "Thwack!" Of someone getting hit and then the cry that followed. I ran over to the poor girl and looked at her. I ran a hand through her hair thinking "holy shit. She's stunning." That's when she woke up and punched me.
