Recap:  “I WON’T LET ANNYONE I LOVE OR CARE FOR DIE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!” I screamed while claws came out of my fingers, and my teeth grew sharp and long.  I howled towards the sky and ran towards the Pedo.  I hit him a few times but he hurt me a lot. I lay limp on a tree branch. I tried to get up but when I did he bit my neck and hard.  I screamed bloody murder.  I then blacked out falling off the tree branch towards the forest floor.

‘Sorry Sasuke, Naruto, Sakura, I have failed you as a friend.’ I though, as my eyes closed slowly.

Now on to the story:

When I woke up I was staring at Gaara.  I blushed a deep red.  “Ummm…Gaara, what hap~.” I was cut off by a sharp pain in my neck.  I hissed and groaned.  “Kitsune! What’s wrong!?” he asked worried.  “I should be ok..” I said smiling a little.  He didn’t buy it.  “Why are you covering your neck?” he asked sternly.  I gulped and uncovered my neck.  His eyes widen when he saw it…my cruse mark.  Some sort of white/purple ooze was coming out of it in a gas form.  “Who did this to you?!” he asked darkly.  I stared in shock at him.

Gaara’s Pov

When she uncovered her neck, I saw the curse mark on her neck.  ‘Someone hurt my light! Nobody hurts my light!’ I thought angry.  I needed to know who did it so I can kill them for hurting my light.  “Who did this to you?!” I asked darkly.  Her face showed shock.  “He needs to suffer for what he did to you!” I said to her a little less darkly.

“Umm…Gaara, it’s ok really…” she said soften face.  ‘How does she not care that, that happen to her?’ I thought shocked.  My light is so forgiving and kind.  I think that is why I like to be near her.

Kitsune Pov

Gaara was silent after I said that what happen to me was ok.  “I need to get you back to your team.” He said after a while.  “Yea…I think they are pretty worried now.” I said blushing.  Then he picked me up bridal style.  I was blushing tomato red.

When we found them, Naruto was asleep and so was Sasuke under a tree.  Sakura was keeping guard.  “Gaara…thank you.”  I said pecking his lips as I hopped out of his arms.  He was blushing but I was too intent to get to Sasuke that I didn’t notice.  

“Sakura!” I yelled while running up to her.  “K-Kitsune?!” she yelled back crying while smiling.  We ran up to each other and we hugged each other for a long time. Just crying onto each other’s shoulders.  “I can’t believe you’re alive!” she said after we went under the tree.  “It was thanks to Gaara.” I said smiling at the sky. 

“Oh! My! GLOB!  Kitsune!  You have that mark too!” she said wide eyed.  “Yea I know. Just don’t tell the boys, I don’t want them to worry.” I said looking down with a broken smile.  “O-Ok…but you will have to tell them at some point in time.”  She said worried.  “I know…” I said looking at Sasuke sadly.

Than night

I was next to Sasuke while Sakura slept. “Sasuke I will never leave you again, I will sacrifice my own life so you could live if I have to.” I said holding his lifeless hand.  “Kitsune…”  Sasuke moaned next to me.  I just smiled and lay his head on my lap.

  “I am right here.” I cooed.  I growled when I heard something come near us.  My white ears popped out and twitched towards the sound.  When it came out of the woods into the clearing.  It was Oni.  “Oni!” I whispered/yelled to him.  “Kitsune is that you!?” he said running to me.  “Yup!” I said when he was in front of me. 

Oni slept behind me so I could lean on him.  The weird thing was my tail and ears didn’t disappear like they usually would.  I winced when my curse mark burned.  It was getting worse.  It was the shape of a dragon.  (Pic on the side).  “Sasuke, wake up soon please.” I said putting my forehead on top of his.  “Please, please, please wake up.” I said pleading while a single hot tear fell on his face.  I then started to sob.  “Sasuke!  I am soooo sorry that I couldn’t protect you all!” I said in-between sobs.

Sasuke pov

I was in darkness.  Yet it hurt so much I was screaming.  I started to run, yet it felt like I was running in place.  I was running for what felt like forever.  Then I hear a beautiful voice say, “Sasuke I will never leave you again, I will sacrifice my own life so you could live if I have to.”  I tried to scream her name but all that came out was a soft whisper of her name.  I don’t want to her sad. It kills me to know she is crying.

Time when by slowly.  “Sasuke, wake up soon please.” I heard ask sadly.  I tried to wake up. I even screamed her name but nothing came out this time. “Please, please, please wake up.” She sounded scared and pleading.  This time I was determined to move but nothing.  I need to comfort her, I need to help her, I want to stop her tears.

Kitsune pov

I woke up lying next to Sasuke while using my tail as a pillow.  He was still unconscious.  But when I saw Sakura freeze when three figures came out of the woods.  When they got close Sakura set off a trap that they dodged.  I got up and so did Oni.  I growled and stalked up to them. 

“What the f***ing Hell do you Fa** want, can’t you see that we are injured Bast****!!!” I said yelling as my tail turned into a porcupine quills.  I was pissed.  I used my charka to make Oni the size of the ninetails.  I attacked the girl first. When I landed my 25th punch on her I froze and fell onto the ground gripping my neck while screaming bloody murder.

Then it started to spread.  I was now screaming while crying.  My vision was getting blurry.  Oni was protecting Naruto and Sasuke’s bodies.  Sakura was grabbed by the hair. Then the cocky one was walking towards me. That’s when I blacked out.
