Being able to see the dead is not fun. My mom always tells me it's a gift, I was specially chosen to be this person with such abilities. Gift? Well I wouldn't really call it that. More of a never-ending nightmare, or in a horror movie I can't escape from. Curse? I don't know if I could even call it that either. I have yet, still to decide.
My mom and I used to be this team; she could also see spirits. She taught me how to ignore them if they ever scared me. Well they always scare me, so i ignore them all anyway. Now after 16 years of ignoring them and their cries for help and confusion, I have to let them all back in.
Why?
One death. One death, and now I have to open up to them, hear their cries for help and confusion, feel what they feel, and let them know I can see them.
This is war against the town serial killer.
His/her army: 1.
My army: The dead.
