After about a week with me avoiding Harry in my home It was time to go to Diagon Alley. We had received our school list informing us that we needed Lockarts complete set of books.
We were going too flo to Diagon Alley today and I couldn't wait.
"Harry you first" said Mum.
"But Harry has never travelled by Floo before" said Ron and I mentally smacked myself on the head because I should have known.
"Sorry Harry I forgot" he said
"Never?" Asked Dad "But how did you get there last year?"
"I travelled on the underground" Harry answered simply.
"Really? Where there escapaitors??asked Dad eagerly.I don't know if you know but dad loves Muggles ( non magical people ) so much that he is always bringing Muggles things back home and collects plugs.
"Now's not the time Arthur" said Mum
"Well as you have never travelled by floo before Harry, watch Fred and George first "
Fred and George got a green powder ( otherwise known as floo powder ) out of the bowl on the fireplace, stepped into the fireplace and shouted Diagon Alley and disapered with the green flames.
"Now Harry step in and say Diagon Alley clearly don't step out until you see Fred and George" said Mum
"Ok" said Harry "D-Dia-gon Alley" Oh no I thought, he messed it up.
"Did he say Diagon Alley" asked
"Yes he did" answered Percey.
Then Percey flood to Dragon Alley followed by Ron and last but not least me with Mom.
When I opened my eyes I was standing in a bookshop which had loads of my books in, not only the books for school but books about absolutely everything, Quiddich, flying, Lessons, you name it.
Mum was frantic because Harry was not there, we waited a minute and then another even I started to get worried by then. We decided that we should go look for him, we had just set out when we saw a Hermione with Harry. Apparently he had gone to Knocturn alley. My older twins Fred and George where sooooo jelouse.
"Let's split up and met in two hours " Mum suggested. "And no step in Knocturn Alley " she added looking at the twin, who were wearing identical innocent looks on there faces.
Two hours later after getting my things and my wand wich is made out of yew wood unknown length and core material we met everybody a Florist and Blotts to have our books signed by non other then Gilderoy Lokhart. Mum absolutely fancies him. Whenever she goes on about him I pretend to be sick because he is sick and a lier. I don't believe anything he says he did. Well we went in and Harry was brought forwad to have his picture taken with Lockhart for the " Daily Prophet " as Lockhart says. Then to my dismay ( and to Rons as well) Lockhart announces that he will be teaching at Hogwart and then he gives Harry a free set of all of his books which Harry then gives to me. We start to walk out of the shop when we here a smug sneering voice such I presume is Malfoy. Ron has been insulting him all summer so that is how I know.
" Famouse Potter, can't even go into a bookshop without having your picture taken " he says.
I start to boil.
" Leave him alone " I say angrily.
" Oh Potter got yourself a Girlfriend ?" he sneers. I fell myself reden and quickly drop my glaze.
" Come on let's get out of here " says dad cheerfully.
" Well, well Arthur "
" Lucius "
" Busy time at work I heard, I hope they pay you for all of the extra raids " He says picking up my very old and broken Tranfiguration book. " Clearly not. " he says coldly then he and Dad get into a fight and Malfoy dad gets a black eye.
" Take this girl " says Lucius handing me my Tranfiguration book, " If it's the best youre father can give you "
