The next day was sunny and the icicles dripped steadily, creating a metronome effect.  With the rise of the temperature, the snow was melting-spring was not far off. “I think we should get married soon.” Jared said to Martine on one of their walks.  “I’d marry you tomorrow so it’s fine by me.” She said kissing his cheek.  “Why do you love me so much?” He asked coquettishly. “What’s not to love? From the moment you opened that door, you captivated me…my whole being.  First of all your eyes, and of course you have all the elements I want in a partner, love, kindness, compassion…naughtiness.” She squeezed his hand and he squeezed back. “You were just a horny girl who needed to get laid.” He teased. “Oh and that too.” She gently pushed him, grinning at him. “What about you Mr. Leto? Cooped up here with no female contact and then you have this secret ploy to impregnate me…” She lifted her eyebrow a smidge. “Hey, low blow!” He chuckled and tickled her. “Okay, okay I surrender.” She said cracking up. “So when do you propose this wedding?” She put her arm through his. “I know it’s short notice but how about in a week?” He asked. “Are you kidding? We have to get invites out to all the important people you and your family and we have to plan it.” She said, biting h“That’s why we hire a wedding planner and I’ll have my mother’s personal assistant Emma draw up the list of guests and send out invites.” Jared said smiling. “See, it’s easy.” She sighed with relief. “Well, when you put it that way I can just kick up my feet and relax.” Martine said feeling a weight lifted. “That’s my plan. We gotta keep our baby healthy and happy.” He stopped and placed his hand on her stomach, rubbing it gently. “I love you already.” He said to their unborn child. Her heart filled with warmth and love.

The week flew by; the wedding to be held that Saturday evening at five o’clock.  Emma had arrived right away to prepare everything alongside the wedding planner.  Martine instructed them to invite her family as well as Charlene and Taylor’s. The girls were from France so it wasn’t too far of a distance for them to travel. They had known their daughters were in Switzerland waiting out the winter; little did they know they’d be staying, but they were happy for their girls. With the short days it was dark outside by four.  The outside torches blazed, guests arrived in their finery.  The theme was a masquerade ball.  Ostrich faces, painted masks with black lips, feathers, long noses and slanted eyes were just a hint of the variety to come.  Martine’s hair was half up and half down. She held a white mask with white feathers on the side up to her smoky eyes. Her lips were blood red pairing with her black Marie Antoinette inspired bustle gown.  The bust had ribbons in the front and back with ruffled sleeves-her breasts pushed up in the bodice. She and Jared decided to match, when she saw him for the first time (not being the traditional type they decided to see each other before) in their room, he took her breath away.  His eyes smoldered as he stood with one hand holding his white mask and another casually in his pocket.  He wore a black Armani suit, with an open collar exposing some of his chest and his favorite black boots. She couldn’t breathe. “You okay?” He asked sexily, knowing he was getting to her. “Go…” She said weakly. “Get out before I destroy you.” She added, her eyes filled with lust. He laughed in the back of his throat. “I’ll see you out there.” He winked and went out.
