not friends anymore

I know it's crazy but lately I've been catching myself seeing my best friend kind of different. I've kind of never been interested in anyone before so this is really... unusual for me. But it's not just that... many people will probably think it's weird but my best friend isn't a guy, it's a girl. I never thought I'd see her that way but it just happened! After thirteen years of my life I spent with her I it suddenly feels so awkward being alone with her. I don't know what to say I don't know what to do I get panicked and try to end it as soon as possible.
But at the same time I just want to be alone with her...

Ah, she's coming!

I sat up straight and looked through my notes about the last period as if I was studying.
"Okay, Dianne" she started talking to me right after pushing away my notes and slapping the table "I need your help!"
She looked dead serious.
So cute.
"What's wrong?" I said putting my notes back on the table
She took a breath before beginning to speak
"Sooo~ there's this really really handsome guy - I think I already told you about him - and-"
Yeah... of course there's a guy like that. Of course a beautiful girl like her would look for a boy as handsome as herself...
"-and I kind of think he might like me back. So~
I want to make him jealous. Like really jealous.
I know it's much I ask of you but will you take couple pictures with me so I can send him them to see his reaction?
Pleaaseee~"
"Hah.."
I sighed and took her hands
"But of course, honey, I could never refuse a request of you~"

"Oh great!" She smirked and chuckled a little while clapping her hands.
"Then would you come over to my house this afternoon? Let's do it in my room~~"
Ah she doesn't know what she's saying... I know that she doesn't mean it but still...
"Haha okay don't make it sound weird now..."

I was breathing heavy when I pressed the doorbell.
Come on, me, there's no need for this.

I heard someone storming to the door and a second later I stood eye to eye with my best friend and biggest love.
"H-hi.."
I started
"Heyy~ finally"
She hugged me for about two minutes but it felt so short... I wanted to hug her forever.... aahh...
"Okay, so let's go into my room. I've already got a plan." She chuckled and lead me by my hand upstairs to her room.

I looked around in her room... I'd been here so often but that time it was so different and I wasn't used to this at all.

She pointed at the place next to her on her bed.
"Come here"
I began moving towards her and slowly sat down. She grabbed my waist and pulled me closer to her.
"Ugh what-"
"Come on, girl. So my plan was to take some pictures together. Some special pictures"
I exhaled very loudly but lay my arm around her shoulder just after making sure my heart was still beating healthy in my chest.

"So on the first one let's just hug each other."
She embraced me and I felt her hot breath on my neck, tickling my skin.

She let go of me and I instantly regretted to have ever held her because I knew she didn't feel the same.

"Oh this one's great! So let's go further"
She held up her cell phone and started the camera.
"Smile my dear~~"
she grinned and kissed my cheek and I could feel the blood flowing into my head!

"Wh-what are you doing?"
I turned my head in the other direction
"Oh, pleaseeee, just one more pic! Just a lil kiss~"
Her begging puppy eyes were irresistible.
"Okay but only one small kiss..." I got more quiet and the last part of my sentence was barely loud enough to hear.
"Okay" she answered and kissed me immediately. I was too surprised to react
"Oh no... this picture is no good...we've gotta take another one. This time try to look less surprised and more like you like it... it wasn't that bad, was it? Haha"

"No, it wasn't bad.." I mumbled
"What?"
"Nothing. Let's do this."
I sighed.
"So here we go~"
She said and this time the kiss was way longer. It didn't feel like one for the show anymore...
When we stopped I had my eyes closed a little longer. There hadn't been a 'click'.
When I opened them her face before me was bright red.
She turned her head
"I love you"
I whispered
"I know you don't love me, but I love you."
She didn't look at me as these words just slipped out my mouth
"It that true? Do you mean it?"
She asked really quiet and trembling
"Yes. I do. I'm sorry I disappoint you."
"Close your eyes."
"What?" I was surprised
"I said close your eyes!"
I shut them and suddenly felt something warm on my lips. As I opened my eyes I saw her face right before mine. I closed them again and enjoyed the kiss.
After a few seconds it ended.
I let my eyes closed.
She leaned towards me
"I love you too" she whispered on my neck
