Intro:

America the beautiful. Scratch that. America the corrupt A buffoon reigns over thee. And crowned with crap and debt to the trillions. From sea to polluted sea! That’s better. I was 18 then I moved to London. Much nicer and safer than the bloody U.S. 18 seems young I know but with the parents I had and a younger brother plus rising crisis and prices I had to escape to the home of One Direction. That’s not why I moved but you get the gist of it. I happened to be 6’5 160 pounds and have successfully worked some hard abs in. But it is the Stalker that really ruins things. So if you like thrillers, comment and like and more chapters will come  Thanx! Xox

Ah Starbucks.

The social hub for the exotic.

I must admit I feel right at home here though.

I work the mid-day shift. It’s always busy and I usually get good tips. I hope this summer job will be enough to pay for college. I plan to become a veterinarian and with no help from mother I can forget getting a new car.

Did I mention I live in London? It’s quite nice. My flat is small but it’s perfect for my brother and I. Poor thing, mom never looked after him so I took it upon myself to become the bigger person and take full custody. It’s hard being a parent for a 3 year old at 19 but he is my brother and he needs me.

Most days consist of making breakfast and sending him to the free day care a block away. Before my shift I go to the library and study for school.  Then my shift comes to an end and I pick little Timmy up after work. But today is a bit different. I don’t really know why but I feel it in my gut as I put on my apron and open the register.

As I’m counting the money I hear someone clear their throat. I look up to see a man in a stiffly ironed suit smiling at me. “Oh I’m sorry. Um. Hi welcome to Starbucks I’m Jace, what can I get for you?” I finally get out. He only chuckles. “A venti white mocha please.” He takes out his wallet which I can see is stuffed with cash. “That’ll be 5.47 please.” He hands me a hundred and says “Keep the change.” I look at him in disbelief. “You can’t be serious?” I ask and he only thanks me and leaves. I'm about to explode with excitement but I suppress it. A 90 pound tip? Since when does that happen? I don’t know but now I don’t have to worry about this months’ food. Oh gut i love you!

I finish up my shift and drive my old clunker to Timmy’s day care to pick him up. ‘One Thing’ by One Direction finished so I hopped out of my car and went inside.

Timmy was playing with a cute Asian girl. I walked over and he smiled at me and said in his little baby voice “hol me hol me!”

I scoop Him up and head to the front door only to see three retards kicking my car.

“HEY ASSHOLES! KNOCK IT OFF!” realizing they were busted they tossed their bats and ran. Well good thing is my car is so crap that you can’t really tell where the marks are. I look over at Timmy with a concernded look on my face, but seeing how blissfully unaware i just smiled at his childhood ignorance.

We pull up to our flat and I see a piece of paper on my door.  I really have no idea who it could be from so I unbuckle Timmy and we walk up to our bright orange door and I can finally read what it said, although I wish I could be as blissfully unaware as Timmy. The note read;

Dear Jace,

You have caught my eye. I will have you soon. Quite soon. If you are not behind Starbucks but 3 tomorrow I will kill Timothy. Such a sweet little brat. It will be fun to watch him burn.

                       Soon To Be Yours,

                                                 Admirer.

I just stood in complete shock, unable to move. Who was this man? How does he know me?

I don’t have time to think about what is happening when I see a black truck with tinted windows stop in front of my house. I make out a figure that is staring at me.  The windows roll down and I see he is holding something.

A gun!
