Chapter 2

Ellie's POV
I get back to the house from the rink and open up my laptop to skype Marc Andre. Whilst I'm waiting for him to pick up I go to get something to eat before he answers.

James POV
Once Ellie leaves I start to get questioned by my fellow teammates.
" When the hell did you meet her." Letang asks looking at me
" I met her in Nashville when I was playing there, she had just come from Arizona and I had just come from here and I don't know we just clicked. She didn't care I was an NHL player and she could talk hockey like nobody else and she didn't care if people judge her for it either. She's a Sports Blogger and a Youtuber, on youtube she post videos about sports and also videos of our vacations. She the perfect girl and I managed to grab her and marry her." I say to them.
The guys look at me shocked at what I just said

" Dude I've never heard you talk about a girl like that ever." Sidney says
" Well I've never met a girl like her before I met her. If you would have told me 3 years ago that in 3 years I would be married with a child on the way I would have freaked and said there was no way that would ever happen." I say

" You know if baby is Boy or Girl." Evgeni says
" We are having a baby boy, due on October 13th and we are naming him Kyle Marc-Andre Neal." I say

" Why Marc Andre as the middle name." Murray says
" Well Marc Andre Fleury is a very close friend of ours and is actually going to be the godfather of Kyle, so Ellie thought it would be sweet if we had Marc Andre as Kyle's middle name." I say

" Wow you've really grown up Nealer, One question though why were we not invited to the wedding." Letang asks

" Well actually it wasn't a big thing, it was only my family, her family, and Marc Andre and his family. Because we didn't have time for a big wedding because hockey and training is so close together so we just decided what the hell and went to a courthouse and got married." I say
" Ever think of having a reception with like your friends and stuff." Crosby asks

" Um well we were gonna and we were gonna invite everyone I played with but then Ellie got pregnant and so we had to push it and then we were going to have one once she got out of the first trimester but then her brother got injured so we couldn't again and had to push it again, so now we are waiting again." I say

" Wait who's her brother." Maatta asks
" Her brother is Auston Matthews star of the Toronto Maple Leafs." I say
" Wait her brother is Matthews no wonder she loves hockey so much." Evgeni says
" Well I should probably get home before she starts wondering where I am, would any of like to come for supper." I say

Crosby, Letang, Malkin, Murray all agree to come over for supper so we head there now.

Ellie's POV
" So how's life over there in Vegas, Flower." I say
" It's good not as fun without you and Nealer here. The kids miss their aunt and uncle and Vero and I miss our friends." He says
" James and I miss you, Vero, and the girls too. You will all have to come out when the baby's born to see us." I say

" That sounds like a plan, and how is my Godson." He asks but before I can answer I hear the door open and look up.
" James come over here and say hi to Marc Andre" I say

" Hey Marc Andre how's the family." James says
" The family's good, Hey Sid, Geno, Tanger, Muzz hows it going." Marc Andre says
" It's going pretty good Marc Andre good to hear from ya." Muzz says

After a while we say goodbye and I turn to the boys.
" What would you boys like for supper." I say getting off the coach the best I could with a 7 months pregnant baby bump.
" You don't have to cook for us, we just order pizza you rest." Geno says

"If pizza is what you want I'll order it but just because I am 7 months pregnant doesn't mean I still can't do things." I say
" We know baby but you should be taking it easy as the doctors said." James says
" Chill I do rest but when my husband invites people over I'm not just gonna sit on my ass all night." I say before picking up the phone and ordering the pizza

I feel arms go around my waist and land on my baby bump.
" I'm sorry baby I know you don't like not being able to do what you used to, but soon enough we will have a beautiful baby boy and it will all be worth it." James says

I turn around in his arms and kiss him,
" I know I just don't like feeling useless now introduce me properly to your friends." I say
" Okay well this is Sidney, Evgeni, Kris, and Matt, guys this is my beautiful pregnant wife Ellie." James says

" Hey boys, pizza will be here in a few we have an xbox with a bunch of games in the living room and there is beer in the fridge." I say
" Damn you have an awesome wife James." Muzz says
" Yea she's pretty awesome isn't she." James says

James POV

The Guys and I play xbox, eat pizza and drinks beers for a while before they head out and I head up to join Ellie in bed.

" I love you" I say whilst laying in the bed
" Love you too." I hear Ellie mumble before drifting off to sleep.
