It was a warm, peaceful Saturday. The school had survived their first week of school somehow, and now it was time for a break. Staring with the first Quidditch game of the season. Slytherin Vs. Gryffindor. Aria was getting ready with the other Slytherin girls, she had on her Slytherin quidditch kit and was brushing her hair back into a pony tail so as it would stay out on her face while she was flying. She walked down stairs at joined her friends at breakfast. She never ate much before a big game, so she just nibbled on some toast.
"You ready for the game Blaine?" Malfoy asked her when he sat with them at the table. She nodded. "Oh what, you can't talk to me?" He asked, his head tilted ever so slightly. "I can," She said, "I just don't talk to you a lot, I thought a nod would satisfy." she shrugged and continued nomming on her toast. He glared at her for a moment before filling his plate with breakfast food. The group ate together and chatted a little bit.
~ Once the Game Starts ~
Aria caught the quaffle and raced past the Weasley twins, dodging bludgers being hit at her. She tossed it at the tallest hoop that there was. Oliver Wood barley missed it, his fingers skimmed it before It went through the hoop getting Slytherin another 10 points. Right now the score was Gryffindor 40 and Slytherin 20. She just hoped Malfoy would catch the snitch soon.
~ After About 30 Minutes ~
Malfoy had caught the snitch, earning Slytherin the extra 150 points and winning the game. The team was all celebrating on the field with their house when Malfoy came over to her. "You're actually good at more than just potions." he said. She smiled a little. "You aren't half bad yourself." she said. Everybody was celebrating and jumping around, and before she knew what had happened Malfoy had kissed her for .1 seconds before walking off into a crowd of celebrating people. Aria was frozen in her spot. What just happened?! Did Malfoy just kiss me?! It can't have been him then....maybe it was somebody else with bleach blond hair......and gorgeous gray-blue eyes, and perfect lips.. and-- what am I thinking?!" She thought. She shook her head to try and clear her thoughts, but just made herself stupid. "Why are you shaking your head like that?...." Daphne asked her curiously. "Uhmm.....no reason..." she said awkwardly. "Okayyyyyy. Anyhow...... come on, we're going to celebrate in the common room tonight, the 6th and 7th years are setting it up right now." "That's cool!" Aria smiled. trying and failing to get her mind off of Malfoy. "Yeah! It starts at 8! Let's go to lunch." The two walked to the great hall together, sat down and piled their plates with food.
~ That Night at 8 ~
Aria was at the party, dancing with Daphne and Pansy. "I'm going to go get another drink!" She yelled over the thumping beat of the loud music. She walked off, wearing the Slytherin green dress that went to her mid thighs, and went over to the concessions table. She was debating between getting a glass of firewhiskey or a cup of butterbeer when she felt a pair of strong hands on her shoulders. When she turned around, she saw a certain little ferret standing there. "What do you~ want Malfoy?" She asked. He was wearing a black suit with a dark green tie, his hair brushed to the side. Even though she "hated" him, she had to admit that he looked sexy. His normally intimidating, blue-gray eyes looked her up and down for a moment. "Ten points to Slytherin." He smirked. She felt her cheeks turn red and get heated. "I asked you what you wanted" She could smell the alcohol on his breath. "You'd be fine." He said, spinning her around and moving his hands down to her hips. She blushed more, noticing that he was slowly walking her backwards. He pushed her against the wall. "I'm trying to get a drink, Malfoy." she glared at him playfully. Malfoy pressed his forehead against hers. "That can wait." He muttered before connecting their lips. Aria felt her face go more red if that was possible. She felt his smirk against her lips. She didn't want to pull away so she did the next best thing. She wrapped her arms around his neck, brought her hands up to his hair and tangled her fingers in his blond locks. She felt his smirk widen once she began to kiss back. They made out for about fifteen minutes, occasionally breaking apart for air. He smirked when they pulled away for the last time. "you're good at that." "You've said that a lot lately, Malfoy" She smiled. He shrugged. " You're just good at a lot of stuff." He pecked her on the lips before walking back into a crowd of people, with not another word. She stared after him for a moment before walking back to Daphne and Pansy. "You took forever!" Pansy said. "And you don't have a drink.." Daphne added. " Oh, yeah, there was a super long line to get to the drinks, after waiting for a while I gave up." She shrugged nonchalantly. The girls didn't think much of it, they all continued dancing and laughing and talking, all the time Aria's eyes were looking for Draco. She only caught a few glimpses of him after their encounter, but from what she did see, he drank too much, passed out, and was dragged up to his dorm by Theodore Knott and Blaise Zabini.
Once the party was over, most people, who weren't passed out or having some fun with a partner, were helping to clean up. They used spells to dispose of the trash bags and clean up any messes, then everybody headed up to their dorms, changed into pajamas and all that and headed to bed. Aria was laying in bed, the minty taste of toothpaste, and a small lingering taste of alcohol in her mouth. She closed her eyes as the light of the bathroom went off and the rest of the girls got into their beds. When she closed her eyes, she was met with a pair of eyes that she never expected to see in her dreams. I think we all know whos eyes they were.
