Dear Diary,

Once again, I went to Marcy's apartment while Mommy was sleeping.

I tipy toed down the fire escape and silently climbed through the window, and I went into her kitchen, where Marcy was waiting for me.

"Hey, I got a jar of peanut butter out of the fridge, in case you wanted some."

"I'd love some."

"I thought you'd say that."

"So, how was-" We heard banging on the door.

I hid underneath the kitchen table as Marcy's mommy subconsously sauntered to the door.

"Tell you're dogs to stop barking! Japan called to complain!"

"First, my perfect Marcy doesn't bark at night! Second, I only have one dog!"

"Then who's dog is hiding under you table?"

"What the heck?" She asked, looking at me. She didn't seem to reconize me from the park.

I wimpered. Why'd I have to leave my safe apartment? Now I got myself and Mommy and possibly Marcy into trouble. What's wrong with me?

The man left, and Marcy's mommy picked me up and... hugged me?

"It's okay, I'll help you find your owner."

She put me down and looked around her place.

"Well, the fire escape door is the only one that's open, so your owner probably lives in this building, lets go find her.

Marcy's mommy went door to door for every person living in our building, until there was only one left. The one at the top of the stairs. Mommy's. She's going to be so mad at me.

Knock. Knock. Knock.

"Who's there?" Mommy called, not opening the door.

"Hi, it's one of your neighbors. I found a white husky and I was just wondering if he belongs to you.

"Does he have blue eyes?"

"Yes."

Mommy opened the door.

"I know how bad it feels to lose a pet, when I lost Mar- wait, you look familiar."

"Hey, you're the person that called my baby a mutt!"

"I'm so sorry about that. And you punched me, so are we even?"

"Okay."

"Tomorrow I'm bringing my Marcy to the dog park, wanna come."

"I'd love to, goodnight."

"You too, kid."
