A strange noise interrupted Lugia's thoughts and before he knew it, a dark shadow had blotted out the sun. The form in the sky unsurprisingly was reminiscent of the letter "Y".

Just the presence of the Pokémon of Destruction alone was enough to make the Mareep run in fear. Lugia, however, didn't even flinch. He already knew it was Yveltal exaggerating his arrival to a predictable, albeit powerful degree.
And so, with a thundering crash, the red and black avian landed on the ground, shaking the trees and causing the bird Pokémon living in them to scatter into the sky.

Yveltal straightened his posture, oblivious to the fact that Lugia was staring straight at his neck. "I only got to enjoy myself for a few seconds," Lugia said sarcastically. Yveltal chuckled. "A new record."
The Destruction Pokémon barely closed the distance between Lugia and himself which had bothered the sea guardian since they first met. All that thick (T H I C C) and fluffy neck fur was practically a drug. So enticing and addictive yet nearly impossible to reach. "Do you have to be so far away?" Yveltal sneered but was clearly amused by Lugia's pouty face. "Forgive me, your highness." He closed the distance a little more so that they only stood a foot away.
What a tease. Could he really blame him, though? Yveltal was almost entirely antisocial and Lugia found out he was claustrophobic the hard way when he dragged the Destruction Pokémon to a cave he had found surrounded by water. The con was that the cave was small and cramped and it didn't help that Yveltal wouldn't stop hyperventilating and ramming into the walls in a feeble attempt at making more room. The red avian was notorious for being a drama queen.

It was then that Lugia realized that Yveltal seemed... Off. He wasn't making eye contact and was constantly shaking much like a Taillow ruffling its feathers. "Yvel?"

"Yveltal." "Whatever. Are you alright? You're all fidgety." "I'm fine, Lugia", Yveltal replied. "I don't know what you're talking about." "Don't lie to me, Yveltal. Something's wrong. I can tell." He reached for Yveltal's shoulder but the Destruction Pokémon backed away. "Don't touch me", Yveltal growled.

"Okay, Okay. Calm down." And without another word, the red avian took to the skies and flew away. Typical. Everytime someone even so much as reach out to him, the Destruction Pokémon would growl at them to back off. Lugia sighed and flew into the air and followed Yveltal. One way or another, he would get that fur...
