Now let's think about how kids would react to having two parents of the same gender. Kids that have two fathers are deprived of the emotional security and unique advice their mothers provide them. Girls that have two mothers are usually at higher risk of teenage pregnancy at an earlier age. An Apr. 2001 study published in American Sociological Review suggested that children that are raised with gay or lesbian parents are more likely to engage in homosexual behavior. (Gay Marriage ProCon.Org). So, the term that says that children tend to act like their parents is true in this case
