Chapter 27

PikaCHUUUUUUUU!

"OK OK IM AWAKE PIKACHU!!" I yelled.

Looks like my headache was gone. I bent my head sideways to check the time on my alarm clock and it was exactly 6:30PM. I scuffled out of bed and headed into the dining room once again.

Wait a second...

"Mom??" I gasped.

Mom was sitting on one of the chairs talking to May and Dawn.

"Ash!" she shouted, "After you went to your room the girls immediately called me, and I happened to be in Kalos at the time so I rushed over here as soon as I could. Didn't you feel me kiss your forehead, honey?"

DAMN IT! That was my mom??

"Uhh, yeah I think so," I replied.

I guess high hopes beg disappointment.

"So... Ash... have you been changing your underwear???"

"MOM STOP IT!!" My cheeks looked as if they'd been doubled-slapped. I gently pushed my mom toward the front door. "Bye! See you soon!" I spurted our before shutting the door.

I put my back against the door with my palms down. All the girls were looking at me. I closed my eyes as if that would transport me to a different world.

"You freakin' PERVERT! Don't even respect your mom!"

I bet you could guess who said that.

Miette joined in, saying, "Wow Ash, what's wrong with you."

Before I could become the victim of any more criticism I ran out the front door. I wasn't looking and I ran into someone a few feet away from the door.

"OWW" we both yelled as the person I ran into fell backwards.

I acted quickly and grabbed the person's right hand. Again. That soft, perfect sensation.

I caught Serena right before her head hit the ground. I pulled a bit too hard and she came crashing into my chest. We were literally hugging. This was even more embarrassing than when we slept together. Not embarrassing, but just crazy!!

"Uhh, Ash... are you done?" she asked.

I realized that we had been in each other's arms for around 10 seconds.

I saw Misty, Miette, May, Dawn, etc. looking at us from the window. Oh my god! Misty's face looked as if she was about to kill me.

I broke away from the hug and started spilling out words. "Sorry. Uhh. I didn't know what was going on. I really liked it though. Wait what?"

How many times were my cheeks going to blush today??

Serena's eyebrows rose and she smirked. "What did you just say, Ash Ketchum?"

"NOTHING", I asserted, before running towards Gary's place.

That was ENOUGH!

"No! Ash! Come back!", she yelled. But it was too late. I was too embarrassed to look back. Even though I wanted to see her beautiful face.

I rang the doorbell and Clement answered.

"Sup, Ash" he said. He let me in.

"WHERES GARY!" I screamed.

I looked toward the back window and a ruff of brown spiky hair manifested itself. I ran to the backyard and saw Gary in the pool.

"GARY IM GOING TO KILL YOU!"

I jumped into the pool on top of him. Clothes and all.

His head plunged below the surface and didn't come up for a few seconds.

"What's wrong with you man??" he queried.

We congregated in the kitchen. All the guys. Gary, Clement, Paul, etc. I explained it all to them. Ever since Serena and my names popped up on that stupid device Bonnie requested Clement to make, my life had been hell. Everyone knew the crush was true. Even Serena. I didn't know what to do.

"Just ask her out, man. How do you think I've gotten so many girls so far?" Gary remarked.

"Shut up, you've never had a girlfriend", replied Paul.

"I recommend making a move before Gary pounces", said Barry, "you never know what he'll do."

All I knew was that if anyone stole my Serena they would pay. Damn it this stupid paradox of me loving her but not being able to have her was insane.

Suddenly, the doorbell rang.

"Everyone, shut up!"

I scuffled to the door and all the girls were there.

Serena was in front. God was she looking fire.

She started stepping toward me. I made eye contact with her aquamarine eyes. She kept stepping. And stepping. But the thing was... she never stopped. Until her lips were within a few inches of mine. I could feel her breath on my face and I almost couldn't take it anymore.

Ash! Kiss her right now!, I thought to myself.

Her head passed by my lips and went up to my ear. I could feel the chills run down my spine. My heart was pumping so fast. It was about to jump out of my chest.

"Ash..." she said seductively. Aaaaand at that moment I used my left hand to... cover... yeah you know...

"I... I..."

Oh my god!!!

She abruptly changed the tone of her voice to a more serious one. "I will never see you again. I didn't want to but... Palermo's orders. I'm moving to Hoenn."
