Z for Zalgo.
The next day, she came. But she didn't bring anything with her but her knife and her own corpse with clothes. Her eye was bright with amazement at out mansion we called home in such a forest of meters-tall trees. "Woah..." Her mouth only managed to say as she gazed upon the house which stood before her in glory.
I chuckled under my mask. She- like others- held the shocked expression that made their mouths open as o's and eyes blur with curiousity of how it would be inside. I lead her inside with the Observer and her jaw almost fell to the floor at the scenery. Paintings hung from the walls, one gigantic living room of riches spread around her, as the stair case against the tall wall reached up to another floor she was yet to discover. Open doors made a hole in the wall to walk through to a amazing kitchen and the other was a library.
In her excitement she grabbed my hand and dragged me up the stairs. I felt a slight shock on my hand from her touch, my heart pounded. She looked like a new her, happy, curious- like a toddler outside of a dark room of sorrow on a sunny day, discovering such places on the wide earth. Was this what I had missed out on?
Her one green eye sparkled, "Toby! Please, oh, please show me around! I wanna see everything!" She jumped up and down, something like Sally when she gets a new toy. Her hands are on my shoulders as she jumps, her eye filled with bright excitement and imagination.
"Fine, fine! Damn your acting like Sally." I sigh, slapping her hand off. I showed her around, few people coming and going, greeting her with smiles and flirty looks. Clockwork was way to distracted by learning and clinging to everything I taught and said. She ran from room to room, she honestly looked like a puppy. I started laughing.
"What's so funny?" She asks, turning to me with pursed lips, slightly bent over about to tear open another door. My laughter gains more fuel, "You look like a fucking puppy running everywhere!"
"Am I cute puppy?" She pretends to slightly wag a invisible tail.
"Haha, sure doggy." I smile. "Okay! That's all I wanna know about puppy me! Now you know what I wanna know?" She asks.
"What's behind that door?" I look up at it, it has a Z engraved on it with a fiery gold. "Absolutely. Don't you know?"
"No Slender doesn't allow us in there."
"Well...one peek around won't hurt right? I mean- he let us even in his room!" A mischievous look began to creep up on her face, her lips began to curve into a wide smile and her eyes narrowed. "Hmm, true...Fine, one peek but then were out."
She jumped with glee then opened the door. We slid in through the ajar crack and looked around at the rather fancy red and black furniture. The king sized bed, walls, dresser, well.
Wait- well?!
Clocky was already looking down it, dangerously low. I remembered; the well lead to a killers home. One my eyes never recall seeing. I look down with her, far bent in. "I year this takes us killers 'home'. Like, you jump down it."
"Then let's go!" She jumps off the edge. In my shock, I jump after her.
I took a glance at the door, a tall being with mouths in the spaces of his rib cage were laughing mouths, his own grin was wide, evil, and terrifying. Horns, long claws. Looking next to him, I see on the door: Zalgo.
Z for Zalgo.
