(ON HIATUS) False Hatred (Eren x Reader AU)

Chapter 1

You were standing in front of your school, your hands clutched on your bag. you were in between your two best friends, Jean and his boyfriend, Marco. You three teens had been friends since Preschool. You guys did everything together, well, all except bathe. Jean and his parents found you on the streets one day, so they took you in. You've been forever grateful for their kind action.

You have been dreading this trip, you didn't want to be on a bus full of arrogant, loud, annoying, and stuck up 15 year olds for hours. Most of the people just came to get two weeks off of school. Jean has been excited to go, he can finally get some time with Marco, if they get a tent together that is.

You tapped your foot impatiently, "When in the hell is the bus going to get here!?" You yelled furiously.

"Careful there (L/n), you don't want to get kicked out before the trip even started," A male from behind you spoke.

You knew exactly who it was, so you turned around in anger, "Listen here, Angry German Kid, you can mind your own damn business and stop putting your nose in mine."

"Oh I don't think you noticed, but you kind of yelled that to everyone out here, so I believe that it is my business," He smiles deviously.

You took a step forward, clenching your fists. You were going to swing when Jean grabbed your wrist, "Y/n, it's not worth it," He said trying to calm you.

You 'tch'ed and turned around, "Aw, you need your brother to save you? How cute," He teased.

You turned back around, "Excuse me!? You're the one who was about to get punched, so say that to me one more time," You said angrily as you grabbed your collar, forcing him to look down into your (e/c), only a couple inches from your face.

You were oblivious to the slight pink that painted his cheeks as you got pulled away by Jean and Marco and Eren got pulled away by Mikasa, "Tsk, crazy bitch," He muttered under his breath before he urned away.

You couldn't take it any longer, you tackled him while he wasn't looking, "What'd you call me!?" You yelled.

"I called you a crazy bitch!" He yelled back.

You guys rolled on the school ground, not throwing any punches because you knew you were rivals, but you mentally agreed on not throwing punches. You guys stopped rolling around on the ground. Eren was on top of you with his hands on one side of your head for his support as he used his free hand to keep yours above your head. his face was inches from yours, just like before. This time, both of your cheeks painted a light magenta. You guys were staring in each other's eyes, like his big turquoise eyes had captivated you. Fortunately, someone broke it up, "Oi, Filthy Brats, what are you doing?" Levi said as he walked up to you guys, pulling up Eren from the back of his shirt.

He was one of the seniors that's coming on this trip, along with Erwin and Hanji. They're mainly here to cup us in check, or more like to see how troublesome we can be. We're practically the most troublesome school in the Maria school district.

"Sorry, sir," You said as you grabbed his hand he put out for you to take, and helped you on your feet.

"Please, you can just call me Levi. You can go back to your friends, Miss. (l/n). However, for you, Jaeger, I need to talk to you first."

"Thank you, Levi," You said as you walked back to Jean and Marco. Eren scoffed and went with Levi. You smirked.

"What was up with that?" Jean asked you as he playfully punched you in the arm.

"What was what?" You replied, trying to hide the blush creeping it's way into your face.

He rolled his eyes, "With Jaeger, you were totally blushing. And, his eyes flicked to your lips."

"Tch, mo he didn't. Nothing happened there, okay?"

"Okay, sorry girl. But, you have to admit something to me truthfully."

You rolled your eyes, "do you have feelings for him?"

"Me? Have a crush on that Dickwad? Do you even know me Jean?" He opened his mouth to say something, but the bus screeched to a stop probably 15 yards away.

"Oh my god, finally!" You said in relief as you picked up your bag and grabbed Jean by the arm with Marco following behind him.

You locked eyes with Eren as you were both the same distance from the bus. You both knew what you wanted. That backseat, and whoever was there first would get it. Being rivals with this dork, you guys learn things telepathically. So therefore, it was a race. You guys both gradually picked up pace. Normal walk, speed walk, slight jog, full jog, and then a full sprint. You barely made it before Eren did, "I beat you Jaeger, that backseat is mine."

He rolled his eyes, "You're such a kid."

You playfully shoved him, "You're not any better," you laughed.

Eren's heart fluttered once he heard you laugh. He's never heard you laugh before. He was in awe. He quickly shook his head and snapped out of it when the doors of the bus opened. You made my way to the back of the bus. Eren day a couple rows ahead of you and waited for Armin and Mikasa whilst you waited for Jean and Marco.

Once everybody made their way onto the bus, the bus started to move. It's been about an hour or so since we started to drive. I stared out the window in awe. There were tall grasses and flowerbeds surrounding the hills with little streams of water trickling down the them. Not to mention that today was a beautiful day. The sun was out and the clear sky was a deep blue and the cool wind was just right.

I saw a herd of horses and snickered but didn't anything. Eren on the other hand, did, "look, a group of Jeans!" He yelled as a few people laughed.

Jean stood up, "Jean, stop," he ignored me.

"At least I'm not an angry German kid who gets babied by his younger sister!" I tried to tell Jean to sit down, but he didn't.

"Fuck you!" Eren yelled said as Eren glared daggers at Jean.

"No, fuck you Asshat!"

Eren got out of his seat and made his way to Jean. Eren kicked Jean in the stomach causing Jeans eyes to widen and made him stumble, "at least I didn't get my sister off the streets!" Everyone went silent. Eren looked at me and saw my eyes were widened with tears threatening to fall down my face, "Y/n...I didn't mean-" I cut him off as I punched him in the nose, causing it to bleed.

(a/n: hi. another fan fiction. i unpublished my other eren x reader because i didn't like how it was going. but i have this one now and it is going to have some scenes from what i'm planning to do with my Ereri fan fiction. So some scenes will be the same, but it won't have to same ending or the same concept y'know? This is a whole separate story, just with a little bit of the same scenes of my other ff because i have no creativity, thank you!)
