Kierra POV
I woke up in a hospital room, all I could hear were the faint sounds of the heart monitor beeping. My head hurt too bad to open my eyes so I laid still until I was prepared for the light that was going to be in my eyes once I opened them. Moments later I forced my eyes open and came face to face with my mother; it looked as if she was praying, or sleep one or the other.
"M-Mommy" I said lowly
Once she heard my voice she shot up and the smile on her face made me feel a lot better physically for some reason.
"Kierra! Oh my baby! I'll be right back I'm going to get the doctor okay?" She said excitedly while squeezing me into a hug.
I simply nodded and she left out of the room. So many thoughts were going through my head right now,
How long have I been out?
What happened to Ty?
Where's Charity?
Where are my sisters?
Did my dad even come to visit me?
Where's Josh?
Where's Darrious?
DID I MISS MY GRADUATION?!
So many unanswered questions, I wish my mom would hurry up and come back so I can get some answers. As I was caught in my thoughts I heard the door open, assuming it was my mom and the doctor I stayed zoned out, just ready to go home.
"So bitch you gonna act like you didn't see or hear nobody come in the room?" I heard that familiar voice that made me smile from ear to ear.
"Best?!" I semi screamed
"In the flesh baby" she said turning around
She looked cute dressed in her black knitted dress and some white sneakers with her red faux locs in a bun. My best friend always came dressed to impress no matter where she was.
"I missed you Cee, what happened?" I asked, still trying to remember everything. The last thing I remembered was fighting to get Ty off of me.
"Well... we'll discuss that when we get you home; in the mean time I brought a surprise" She said backing towards the door.
"OOO! Watermelon Sour Patches, please please pleassssse be watermelon sour patches" I said squeezing my eyes closed and holding my hands together.
"Fat ass motherfucker" I heard her mumble before I felt something drop on my legs and my eyes shot open.
"Yess!" She got me the box of sour patches so it's more variety! I've never been so happy.
"That wasn't your surprise, those were actually ours to share but I guess you can have them" She said rolling her eyes and walking to the door.
"Come on!" She yelled in the hallway and I furrowed my eyebrows confused until it clicked. Just as I figured out who she was talking to he walked in the room, looking good as hell.
"So fucking ghetto I shouldn't have even had you do it with yo loud mouth ass" He mumbled
"Shut up or get beat up" Cee said shrugging and crossing her arms; but he ignored her and caught eyes with me.
"Hey" He said putting his hands in his pockets looking nervous
"H-Hi Josh" I said as my throat began to clam up. An awkward silence fell in the room and we all just sat and stared around the room.
