Kierra POV
Charity and I walked into Memorial hospital and I was a nervous wreck. I didn't think this night could get any worse, life always has a funny way of proving me wrong.
I have grown to like Josh a lot and possibly love him; if anything happens to him I don't know what I would do. We seen Dee sitting in the waiting room and I ran over to him.

"What happened!? Where is he? Please tell me he's ok" I said through my tears as Cee rubbed my back trying to comfort me, but the only thing that was going to comfort me was knowing that my Joshy was okay.

"Shh! Calm down. I can't explain what happened here..." Dee said while looking around.

"It's too many ears and eyes. All I can tell you was he was shot. I don't know where but there was a lot of blood, let's just pray please" Darrious pleaded.

I nodded and we all grabbed hands and bowed our heads. I led the prayer considering I know Charity doesn't know how and I don't trust Dee to do it.

"Dear heavenly father, we come to you today with open hearts and open minds. Please lord touch the hands of the doctors who are operating on our friend today lord, please bless Josh with a second chance to prove that he is more than the path he has chosen in life. Please look over Josh in this time all mighty savior in Jesus name we pray..."

"AMEN!" We all finish together

After prayer we all sit in silence I watched as Dee sat with his head in his hands probably still silently praying. I went to sit next to him and hugged him as he looked over at me with eyes full of tears.

"He's gonna pull through. Don't be so hard on yourself" I said

Instead of continuing to look at me he began to stare into space.

"It's all my fault Key. He didn't wanna go and I made fun of him calling him a pussy pressuring him to come; and you know what makes me feel worse?" He asked as he was now sobbing.

"What?" I asked still silently crying

"He said all he wanted to do was go back home and talk to you on the phone for the rest of the night"

I looked at him as he beat himself up and sobbed. I grabbed his face and looked him in his eyes.

"It's..not..your..fault.." I said through gritted teeth

He sobbed harder and I held him as tight as I could and rocked back & forth. I never thought I'd see the day Darrious crying, let alone holding him and comforting him. We sat there until Charity high ass fell asleep and Darrious cried himself to sleep on my lap.

I sat there silently praying until I looked up and seen a tall handsome man walking into the waiting room, he was brown skin, plump lips, perfect fade and he had on a business suit and I couldn't help but to drool over him.

Once he walked over to us looking pissed I realized it was our next door neighbor. I tried to shake Dee awake before he yanked Darrious up by his collar which made him wake up swinging, the fine business man swung back making him fall.

I started to break it up, but the business man realized people were staring and he controlled his anger. Once again he grabbed Dee by his collar and dragged him out as Darrious made a scene.

"Let me go!!! I need to stay here! I need to know he's ok!" His voice went faint as they walked out of the hospital as me and now woke Charity watched.

Out of nowhere Charity started busting out laughing making me wanna laugh but I held it back, now was not the time for humor. A few minutes later an older man and woman ran to the front desk in a panic.
