She shattered and she's missing

Listening to Mrs. Hanlin explain about the universe and matter, who was basically my second mum but was actually my best friends grandma,Mike. His grandma homeschooled both of us.

But today was our last day of middle school and next year both of us will be attending Derry high School."alright guys it's officially summer!" Mrs. Hanlin said making me and Mike jump up with excitement.

"Wanna go riding through town?" Mike asked me with an ear to ear smile."yeah but I'm gonna stop home and get some stuff, but I'll meet you at Phil's" I said. We took our separate rout's.

"Hey Mom I'm home!!" I called out,knowing she wasn't home and was working. I quickly put my stuff in my room and changed into my red sweater I paired it with my light blue jeans and I wore my red Converse. I took a quick look at my self in the mirror, taking in my look. I went back down stairs to get bubble gum from the jar from on top of the fridge. I flew out the door anxious to meet Mike at Phil's, the town's best ice cream shop. I hopped on my red bike and headed to town.

Passing through the streets of my small town I heard a whistle come from my side. My eyes met Henry Bowers and my heart sank when the thoughts of him flooded my head. I stopped in the middle of the road still keeping contact with his eyes until one of his friends pushed a small boy to the floor making Henry laugh, my blood boiled and I jumped off my bike rushing to tell him to stop. "Henry leave them alone!" I said standing in front of one of the boys before Henry was ready to swing a punch at him. "Back away sweetie.." He told me, his eyes putting my mind in a trans as if the blue in his eyes could see through your soul.

"Don't call me that you pervert!" I scolded him. I saw his arm raise as if he was going to slap me, I braced myself for the impact. But it never came because Henry's dad was there to call him out. "You get a free pass this summer because of your little brother but next year..." Henry told one of the boys. He walked away his cruel posse flowing close behind. "Th-thanks you didn't ha-have to do that-t.." one boy said. "No it's okay, Henry picks on my best friend so I try to stop him every chance I get" I said looking at all of them admiring all of the smiles they showed me.

"So uhh what are all of your names?" I asked. "Oh that's bill, Stanley,Eddie and I'm Richie but you can call me Mr. Right." Richie made a move on me...wow I can tell what kinda boy he is."well I'm Jemma murry and Mr. Right?" I said in a flirty way."yes babe??" He said almost making me gag."talk to me like that again and I'll cut your face off." I said hopping on my bike. I turned my head to all the boy's."I'll see you around...oh and weezy, give me a call" I rode off sending a wink Eddie's way. Do I have a crush on the boy?? No I just said that to piss Richie off. I let the thoughts the boys linger in my head while I rode to Phil's.

"What took you so long!" Mike laughed at me when I entered Phil's."I ran into Henry Bowers and some other people.." I said."ohh who? Does Jemma have a crush??" He teased as we got in line to order our ice cream."ew no, besides it was a group of boys" I said, them giving our order to the cashier."really?what are there names?" He questioned me. "Bill, Richie, Stanley and Eddie" I said paying the man and grabbing our two ice creams. We sat down outside. "Oh my God, what happened?" He asked as if he were a 15 year old girl on the phone with her BFF talking about the hottest boy in school."well first I met eye contact with Henry and it made chill's run down my back so I stopped but after like two seconds until one of his friends pushed Eddie to the floor, I rushed off my bike rushing to Henry telling all of them to leave them alone but he said something to me and so i said something to him, he didn't like it and he was going to hit me and I braced myself for the impact but it never came because Henry's dad was there to stop him so then they walked away from us. Then Richie introduced all of us but here's where shit got interesting, Richie said 'and I'm Mr. Right!' so I wanted to be a dick so I said 'well I'm Jemma murry and Mr. Right?' then he said 'yes babe?' I said ' talk to me like that again and I'll cut your face off!' I then got on my bike and turned my head to bill and said ' I'll see you around...and weezy? Give me a call' I gave him a wink then took off!" My story made Mike laugh but when he calmed down he had a hand full of questions for me.
