I watch Wistal Castle disappear as we leave the kingdom. Zen still refused to tell me where we're going. But I'm not worried about it that much, as long as I'm with him.
"Shirayuki, looking at that castle like that is making me nervous. Would you rather stay here?" Zen asked me.
"No it's fine. I just haven't been away from the castle since we got separated." I say turning away from the castle and sitting next to him.
"That's true. But this get away is our Homeymoon, and I promise you wont have to stay away from the castle for more than two weeks." He replies taking my hand.
"Thank you." I say laying my head on his shoulder.
The rest of the ride was in silence. But it was a good silence. Today was an amazing day. I married the man I love. My father walked me down the aisle. I'm happy. And I hope nothing changes that.
I dont remember but I do know that we have been on the road for quite a while. I do remember falling asleep on Zen's shoulder. The mingling and dancing at the reception must have worn me out more than I thought. Then someone was rubbing my face, trying to wake me up.
"Shirayuki it's time to get up. We're here." They said. I open my eyes to find Zen looking at me with an awestruck eyes.
"Where are we?" I ask sitting up. The foot man came to the door of the carriage and helped me out. As soon as I look up, there are no words to describe how I felt.
"Zen?!" I say covering my mouth.
"Yeah I know. I figured the best place to have our honeymoon would be in the place we first met." He says and comes to join me on the path that led to the little cabin.
The wall that Zen jumped over that day still stood. Ivy draping down it on both sides. The cabin looked the same. Although it looked like it was freshly painted.
"I expected it to be run down. We haven't been here since we met." I whisper.
"I've been working on it since I before I propsed." Zen whispers into my hair.
"Can I go inside?" I ask.
"Of course." He says. And we walk inside together holding.
"Its locked." I say jiggling the door knob.
"Here." He says and puts a key in my hand. I set up to the door and unlock it. I push it open and we step inside.
It looked different, yet it didn't. The couch was replaced but in the same spot and fire place was clean. The kitchen was lovely. I walk up the stairs and I'm met with three beautiful bedrooms.
Ours had the be the most breathe taking of them all. It was so big and open. But it was so dark. I walked over to the curtains that were covering the window and pulled them apart, revealing the amazing bedroom that we would be sharing for the next couple of weeks.
"Zen this is amazing. When did you find time to do all this?" I ask.
"I have my ways. I did spend most of my time escaping the castle to go off and do my own thing. You know what they say, old habits die hard." He laughed.
We spent the rest if the evening around the house. I even made Zen dinner. Which he enjoyed. Then we went to bed.
"I believe I was promised something." He said as he pulled the blanket and sheet down the bed so we could get in.
"Really and what was that?" I ask innocently.
"I recall you say that you wouldn't sleep with me until we were married." He says walked toward me. I was taking off my earrings and putting them on the dresser.
"And last time I checked. I got married this morning. How about you?" He held up his left hand and showed me his wedding band that I placed on his finger no more than a few hours ago.
I also hold up my left hand showing he my wedding band along with my red diamond engagement ring above it.
"Yes I did get married this morning. It was a beautiful ceremony." I say laying the back of my head in his shoulder admiring our rings.
"Yes it was. And the bride was absolutely stunning." He whispered and kissed my neck.
"And the groom was simply handsome." I reply and turn around jumping and wrapping my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck. His hands went to my hips as if by instinct.
"What should we do now Mr. Wisteria?" I ask.
"Maybe a little bit of this?" He kissed both my cheeks.
"And some of this?" He kissed my nose.
"How about this?" Then he moved down and kissed my lips.
Zen slowly walked over to the bed. Being cautious of our surroundings so neither of us could get hurt.
"Well Mrs. Wisteria I must say this has to be the greatest day of my life." He whispered his lips hovering over mine.
"Be quiet and kiss me Zen." I laugh and pull him down to press his lips against mine in a heated kiss.
And that night you could say we consummated our marriage. But then again we had already done long before today.
