In The Beginning(On Hold)

POV Unknown

'Alpha Far east corner. I'm picking up at least 4 scents. ' I take a deep breath in. As I mind link the alpha. 'No make that 6'

'I am sending more help. Do not approach without back up. '

'To late. They are heading towards me. '

I shift in to my human form as four of the six start to approach me. "Shift" I demand.

The largest wolf who seems to be the leader shifts, while the others stand guard.

"What is your business in our territory?"

"You know why I am here." he roars.

My wolf growls trying to break free.

"Hand her over and nothing will happen to the rest of your pack."

"That will never happen." I growl. my eyes turning black my wolf breaking free of my hold.

'You must keep her safe.' I mind link the alpha as I began shifting, jumping midair going straight for his throat. Before I reach him. I am attacked from both sides. Two wolfs that had been hiding in some bushes jump out at me taking me straight to the ground.

"I warned you" he laughs, before shifting and going straight for my pack, with the other three wolfs.

I let out a growl as I shake my body knocking them both off. I go after the larger of the two first, pinning him directly to the ground. I growl as I rip his throat out with ease, blood covering both my wolf and the other wolf. I growl as he bites down on the back of the neck. I was going to make him feel sorry for that. I let out a loud snarl as I roll on to my back, causing him to let go. I quickly move pinning him to the ground. I did not waste any time before I tore out his throat, bathing my self in his blood.

'About time you show up' I give an annoyed growl as I mind link one of our head guards as he showed up.

'I got here as fast as I could, but it looks like you have it covered'

'Did you catch the others?'

'We got two, the leader managed to escape. We have some of our best trackers tracing his scent.'

'That's not good enough!' I let out a loud growl. 'I will track him myself.'

He takes a few steps back cowering a bit as my eyes turned black filled with so much anger.

'Is she at least safe from him?'

'Yes. She is with the Alpha'

'Good' I take in a deep breath relaxing some, before I take off following the scent of the lead wolf.

I followed the scent for 15 miles, before I heard some leaves crunching. I stopped, turning to face the direction the sound came from. My ears perked up as I listened quietly, I took in a deep breath, I was still able to pick up his scent, but it was to faint to be close enough to be making the sound. Only scent I was able to pick up was a few rabbits, I know it was not a rabbit, as the crunching was too loud.

"It took you long enough to find me." The leader laughed as he jumped out from behind a bush, he was covered in rabbit's blood. I can't believe I was so stupid as not to realize he would find a way to mask his scent. I let out a growl as I shift into my human form.

"I will make you pay for everything you have ever did to hurt her." I snarl as I position my self to attack at a moment's notice.

"I'd like to see you try." He roars with laughter as he pulls a freshly polished 9mm pistol from behind the tree. Aiming it at my heart. "I knew you would be so hell bend to find me. I have been waiting for this day." He grins. "I have been watching you for a while now. I have seen what you are able to do. I decided to save the trouble and load a gun with silver bullets."

I growl shifting as I leap at his throat.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

I whimper as I fall to the ground, I had not been thinking about what was at stake when I had leaped towards him. All I was thinking about was revenge for what he did to her, and how I wanted to kill him for everything. I wanted him dead and I wanted it to be at my hands.

"Time to say your last goodbyes," He laughs with pride as he moves over me pointing the gun at my heart once more.

'I'm Sorry Alpha. Please keep her safe for me.' I mind link my Alpha. I take in one last pain filled whimper as I hid the pain before I mind linked my beautiful mate. 'I love you' Was all I said, before I put up a block so she could not feel my pain or notice something was wrong.
