I Fell in Love with my Best Friend

We switched on the T.V and turned on Netflix. Jimin sat on my left and Addy sat on my right and Destiny sat on the floor in front of me. We were watching Stranger Things when Mom came back into the room with Milkis cans and a plate full of here famous no-bake cookies. I looked at Jimin and said "Hey Chim Chim do you want a cookie?" He looked at me arched his eyebrow and asked "Chim Chim? Where did that come from?" I laughed and shrugged. "I don't know it just sounds cute. I give all my friends cute nicknames. Addy is Lil Mochi, Destiny is Dessy, Kaida is KK, and Jaslyn is Jazzy. You are now Chim Chim." He hid his face in embarrassment. He is giggled as well. I thought it looked adorable. I asked again. "Would you like a cookie, Chim Chim?" He giggled again and nodded. I smiled and handed him three cookies. He popped one in his mouth and chewed. His eyes widened and he stopped chewing. I looked at him confused as I ate one. He probably doesn't like it, I thought. He looked at the cookie then back at me and smiled widely. "This cookie is amazing!" He exclaimed. My mom came out of the kitchen because she heard yelling. "What's wrong? Is everything okay?" By the look on her face she was concerned. Jimin lit up when she walked into the room. "Mama this is good." She huffed out a breath in relief and chuckled. "Well thank you. Haven't you had no-bake cookies before, though?" He shook his head no and kept eating the cookies. His face turned sad when he swallowed the cookie and said "My mom doesn't cook very much for me. She is always at work. My dad doesn't cook for me because he is a dad and would burn it. So, most of the time I'm cooking for myself." I looked at him. When he said that I almost cried. He saw me and smiled. "It's okay. I'm fine with cooking for myself. Don't cry, Bella." He put his arm over my shoulder and drew me in for a hug. The hug was gentle and sweet but very warm. I put my head into his shoulder. I felt safe in his arms. He drew back and looked into my eyes and said "I don't ever want to see you cry, Bella. You have been the nicest person to me ever since I got here." I smiled and nodded. During the rest of Stranger Things Addy and Destiny had to leave so it was just me and Jimin left watching the ending. My mom had to leave to go back to work for three meetings in a row so she said she wouldn't be back until really late. She also said that if Jimin had to stay over for the night that I should show him the guest bedroom on the second floor at the end of the hallway. Jimin and I stayed there for almost three hours and when we finally finished Season 1 it was already past 10 o'clock. Jimin had to stay over. He called his mom and told her that he was staying over so he would need some clothes. I told him about how he could borrow some of the clothes my mom bought for my brother since they are too small on my brother. He told his mom that and told her that he loves her and hung up. He went to the room and I followed behind and he sat on the edge of the bed and looked up at me. He stared at me while I was getting the room ready for him the stay in. I picked out his outfit and laid it out on a chair for him. He never took his eyes off me once. I looked at him and smiled and said "All ready." I was about to turn around and leave the room when he said "Thanks. For everything you've done. You have really made me feel at home. I feel really comfortable here." I turned to face him and smiled. I waved him off in a gesture that said 'Oh it's nothing'. He stood up and walked to me. He smiled down at me and wrapped me in a big hug. I smiled and hugged him back. We broke up the hug and I said "I'm gonna go to room and go to bed now. Sleep well Chim Chim." With that said I waved and walked back to my room after shutting the door to his room. I entered my room and shut the door behind me. I picked out my outfit for tomorrow and set it on the chair in my room. I snuggled into my bed not caring that I was still wearing the clothes from today. I cuddled up to my pillow and drifted off to sleep.
