Chapter 4 - Shawn

It's been a couple days since Shawn confessed his love for me and so far taylor and him haven't said a word. it has been awkward with Shawn too.

And No ones been talking to each other, but tonight should be different it the first night in 7 days we go out to eat as a 'family' I hope we actually talk.

I was going to wear my crop top that read hipster please across it and some floral shorts with my burkes.

I did my hair and put a little makeup on.

Mahogany came into my room.

"You ok?" she said

"Ya I'm just worried about dinner."

"We all are"

"What if taylor loses it?"

We sighed

"Well we gotta make the best of a bad situation!"

That didn't make since.

"Well you look beautiful!" taylor said coming into my room with a bouquet of roses.

"Aww thnx tay!" I said grabbing the flowers and putting them in a vase.

There was a note card on the side that read

'Amber you bring me light so I brought you roses

-love taylor'

"So dinner?" taylor said

"Ya I'm kind of afraid an worried." I said

"Why I'll be there."

"No it's Shawn I'm afraid you and him might fight and things will UGH"

"Who are you sitting next too?" tay asked

I thought about this.

I didn't want to sit next to Shawn or taylor cause it would've caused jealously.

"Idk." I sighed collapsing on the bed.

"Ok I'll leave see you in a bit amber!" mahogany said leaving my room.

"Why don't you sit next to mahogany?"

He asked

"Nah I mean she's a good friend but we would've been talking about something way off subject. tonight we need to get things cleared."

He nodded

Nash came in the room

"Woah am I interrupting something?" he winked

"No!" we said

"What are y'all thinking about?" Nash said sitting himself in my desk across from were me and taylor were.

"Were she's sitting at dinner. she doesn't want to sit next to me nor Shawn cause she thinks we'll get jealous."

"Why don't you sit next to me?and I'll get cameron to sit on the other side"

"That's a great idea!"

I said hugging Nash.

Taylor coughed

We went to dinner and I say were I planned and it was silent.

"So anyone want to talk?" carter said.

We all looked around everyone mostly staring at me.

"Shawn don't make this akward as it is." I said looking at him.
