Chapter ④: First impression

Isabella POV
And here I am. I have just entered what will be my new home from here to 6 months. House that I will share with a boy. Honestly, the reception that was given to me by the latter wasn't the best. All the time, he did nothing than looking at me from head to toe and sincerely doesn't seem so happy to receive such news: at least in this we are in complete agreement!

Kim JungHee POV
These two continue to look each other from head to toe and the looks they exchange are not jovial and reassuring. But, I have extreme confidence in Sister Angela and if she believe that this young girl can help Daniel (and me too) then I have no choice but to have faith in her.

Better to say something to dampen the tension that can be felt in this room.

"Ok guys, this is it! Now I will hang this list of rules that you absolutely must respect to the refrigerator. Please get along with each other during the next 6 months" and after saying that I hurried to attack the list on the refrigerator and left the house. The tension in there was so high it made me feel almost as if I lacked oxygen. Let's only hope that they don't kill each other!

Daniel POV
I don't have the minimal intention of sharing my home with a nun for a good 180 days. Can someone tell me what the hell was manager Kim thinking when he brought this shortie up here? Just wait... I'm sorry for her since she doesn't look like a bad person, but I'll manage to get rid of her as quickly as possible.

Now that I lookthe clock, it's already 7pm... maybe it's time to prepare something to eat and then go to sleep. In doing so, I went towards the refrigerator to find myself in front of that damned list of rules, most of which were addressed to me of course!

List of rules for cohabitation

1. Get along

2. (for Daniel) Sister Isabella has to go to the convent every morning at 5 and every evening at 6 for prayers. So it's your job to make sure that she get there safe and sound (and forget to think about bringing her to a convent and then sneak away)

3. (for Daniel) treats Sister Isabella in the best way possible and remember to respect her

4. (for Daniel) try to open up with Sister Isabella, she is here to help you

5. This is the most important rule: you must be together, always!

What's wrong with that damn manager's head? I'm not going to respect any of these rules...

"Excuse me Mr. Kang..." ah, it's true. That stupid nun is still in this house.

"What do you want?"

"Well, I wondered if you could help me carry my bags to my room and if, by chance, I could have something to eat"

"I'm sorry, but this house has only one bedroom, and it's mine! So you'll have to sleep in the living room, on the sofa!" I have no intention of giving her my room, because anyway very soon she will not live here anymore.

"I understand, I will settle for it. Thank you for hosting me"

"I am not at all happy with the idea of you being here... and for this I will make sure that our cohabitation will be a real hell for you"

"Do as you wish. If you want to know, I'm not happy with this situation too, but I have no intention of disappointing the people who believe in me! After all, we are in this world to support others and this is my job as a nun and my dream"

"Never allow yourself to name things like disappoint, support, believe and above all dream in this house" I shouted. The more she talks, the more I can't bear her. I have to find a way to make she disappear from my sight as soon as possible... and thinking that I went to the room and slammed the door behind me. Even my appetite has gone.
