The Mask of Betrayal

Why?

Betrayal is a vague word which is why I ask why is it seen as a bad thing? It was an odd day to say the least considering nothing was had disappeared and that was weird considering Romeo, Night Ninja and Luna girl still roaming the streets, and who knew the police were so useless at their jobs that they think 17 year olds with SUPER POWERS are just playing around and not saving the world or anything. It pissed me off and yes I say swears now because I'm not a little kid anymore, not at all to say the least. But anyway with no trouble on the streets I went round owlettes house to potentially ask her out when I saw her and Cat Boy kissing, it broke my heart and this is my journey after that point in my life.

No...they're kissing...they're together...they're one...why do I feel a sudden anger well within me when I should be happy for them...no I shouldn't be happy for them...I like her...I love my owl girl and there that pussy is making out with her...it's at times like this when I wish a crime did in-fact happen.
I leaned against the door I was peaking through to think this over when I fell through the door getting noticed by the Cat and the Owl. "Greg what're you doing?" Cat boy asked as I got up and turned to the door.
"I was just by to give in my resignation letter for the PJ masks" I say not being able to control my mouth, but what I said felt right weirdly enough.
"But Greg you're one of the key members of the PJ masks who will be there to stop evil with us?" Owlette said as I simply shrugged.
"Not my problem" I say as I walk out, these days I wear my PJ's under my clothes just in case of another day incident like the one with Romeo and Ninja taking over city hall.
I turned around and showed that I didn't have my PJs on but they were in my hand as I ripped them in two and walked away leaving the remains of my PJs at Owlettes house.

I work at a sweet shop down new road called Mr Smithies and my boss was a kind man, it was the next day and a weirdly cute platinum blonde haired girl walked into the shop looking around. This was the first time I saw something in anyone other then the owl girl so I felt weird. "Hello do you have any cookie dough flavoured candy?" She asked me as I looked behind the counter and got out a cookie dough candy pencil that was primarily licorice based. "Here try this, it's a licorice pencil flavoured with cookie dough,it's great with a milkshake" I said as I gave her a sample and she gave it a mere lick.
"This tastes extremely nice, I'll take a few and can I also have a chocolate milkshake please?" She asked with extreme manners, the most polite girl I had met since owlette.
"That's on the house" I give her the stuff and a bag to put it in and waved goodbye as she exited the store.
I was smiling because she made me feel happy but the smile vanished as the two masks entered the store looking at me sorrowfully. "How can I help you?" I asked coldly.
"By rejoining the team Gecko?" The cat asked as I smirked.
"Have you that bad of memory? You should be goldfish boy instead, I ripped up my PJ's infront of you two masks" I spat as I smirked viciously.
"gecko we need you" Owlette said.
"Well too bad I don't need you two, so unless you're buying something please leave our store" I said Venomously again as the two leave the store.

They had a point though.
They needed me to counter the three enemies they had and that means if, per-say another enemy entered the fold then they would fall apart because they don't have their Gecko...
