Y/n's POV

"Ughhhhhhh. I'm sooooo bored!" I yelled into my pillow. I rolled around my bed and threw my pillow at my door. I started to list off things I could do.

I could go on a Supernatural binge, which I've done two times already. I could play Fortnite......nah. I probably should delete it off my PlayStation. Maybe listen to some music and read fanfiction? Eh. I do that everyday.

I looked over at my bookshelf and and tried to look for some books I haven't read a bazillion times.

I could always read Harry Potter I suppose. I've read them all except for the new one..(I know there isn't a new one out, but pretend)

I looked at my wallet to see if I had some spare money. I had about forty dollars. "Ah fuck it. I can skip out on pizza tonight. I'll just make some ramen or something." I said.

Harry Potter comes first before everything.

I hopped off my bed and went to grab my coat off of my couch and grabbed the nearest pair of shoes around me. After I was ready, I walked out into the crisp autumn air and headed straight to Barnes and Noble. I lived in an apartment pretty close to the city but not so close that there was traffic or loud noises. It was perfect for me.

After about five minutes of walking I looked up from the sidewalk I was on and saw I was in front of my destination. I smiled joyfully and hurried inside.

"Hello! Welcome to Barnes an- oh!   (Y/N)! Nice to see you again!" Charli said to me. Charli is usually here whenever I decide to come here. She's a sweet person. She balances out my sour and unmotivated attitude.

"Hey Charli! Long time no see. How's college working out?" I ask. "Being a pain in the butt. Although, it's got cute guys. So I'm in for it." We both giggle. "Ah just one more year. And then I'm a free person. I won't have to work here and then I can get a job the the veterinary clinic here."

"But enough about me. How is your adult life treating you? Is working at (insert dream job) going well?" I smiled. "It's going fantastic. Although there aren't a lot of cute guys or girls, it's still a nice place to be at. And hey, at least I walk out with a decent amount of money each week."

"Oof. No cuties!? How do you survive?" She giggled. "Anyways, what book are you looking for today?"

"I was hoping you had the new Harry Potter book out still?" I asked. She thought for a moment. "A guy just came in and asked for the same thing. There might be one left but I don't know. It's been selling out like crazy. But you know where the section is. If it's not there, I'll give a discount on whatever you want." She smiled.

I thanked her and walked to the fantasy section. I saw a shelf with one book left. I made a small cheering noise and went to grab it, but another hand went too. I looked up and saw a handsome man with soft pinkish hair and a gray sweater. (Pic Above) "Ah my apologies!" I said. "Oh no I should be saying sorry! I didn't realize someone already grabbed it." He smiled. He had a big beautiful smile that shined like a star. "Here, please take it. I can wait till they restock it." I handed him the book.

"Thank you! It's for my friend's birthday." He graciously took the book. "But at least let me do something for you. You helped me avoid having to find something else."

And of course my stomach wanted to demonstrate how a whales mating call works. He laughed. "How about I treat you to lunch? There's a new pizza shop that opened not far from here.." Is this man an angel sent from the heavens above? "That would be wonderful!" He nodded and then we both went to the counter to pay for the book. Charli eyed me suspiciously and grinned. "Thank you for shopping with us and have a wonderful day!" The man let out a thank you and then walked to the door and I trailed behind him.

She waved at me and gave me the thumbs up of approval. I blushed and walked with him.

"I'm sorry, but I don't think I ever caught your name." He broke the silence. "(Y/N)." I said. "Well (Y/N), it's nice to formerly meet you. I'm Hoseok. But please, call me Hobi." He stuck is hand out to shake mine. "Nice to meet you as well Hobi." I smiled.

We talked along the way there and I found out he is a singer and dancer for the group BTS. I haven't heard of them before so I decided when I got home I would look them up. After a couple for minutes of walking and talking, we reached at a family pizza restaurant.

It was pretty busy but we luckily found a table for two. We ordered a plain pepperoni pizza and had a nice time. Hobi's phone rang and he went to pick it up. "Ah I'm sorry to cut our time short, but I have to go." He looked sad about it. "Do you have a pen by any chance?" He asked. I dug around my coat pockets and found a red pen. I handed it to him and he grabbed a napkin. He scribbled on it quickly and then left enough money to cover the bill on the table.

Before he left, he handed my the napkin with my pen. He waved and then set off.

I looked at the napkin and saw a note,

(Y/N),
Thank you for the lovely time.
I had an amazing lunch with an amazing girl like you. Call me so we can set another one up!

-Hobi ❤️

I smiled and quickly added his number. I walked home happy and then I texted him. He replied quickly and we stayed up the whole night just talking about everything.

What do you think guys? I made this one a little longer than I anticipated. But I think it was pretty good. I'll probably make a part two if you want. But see you in the next chapter!
