Is this love?

Chapter 1

I woke up to thunder, and a strike of lightning. It was storming bad. It was 7:00 a.m so I started getting ready since my best friend Adam was coming to pick me up, and give me a ride to school.

I got dressed, then went, and ate some serial. In the next 5 minutes I was standing on the porch when he pulled up, hair breezing in the wind. He was so hot. but he was my best friend. Sometimes I wonder if he wants us to be something me.

"Hey, Holly." He said as I was getting in the car. "Hey." I said back. When I was seat belted I leaned over and kissed him on the cheek. "what was that for?" He asked not being rude. "I just thought how lucky I am to have a bestfriend like you." "thanks, you too, I love you Holly." "love you to best friend." I said. We always tell each other that we love them but I always think if he means it more than friends. " So Holly have you applied to college yet?" "No, have you?" "No." The rest of the ride was silence.

When we got to school Adam got out and came to open my door for me, he even carried my bag for me. "What a gentleman." I said and kissed him on the check. He stared at me for a second, then he said "let's get to class." Did he mean to stare at me? Does he have feelings for me?

We walked to our lockers. (they were right beside each other) "I'm gonna go find jake, see you later love you." he kissed me on the forehead, and left. I got my notebook, and a pencil out an wrote a short note " We have been bestfriends for 5 years now, and every day I get more feelings for you. I really love you, and not in the best friend kinda way. I really wanna be with you." I folded it up, and shoved it in us locker, then went to class.
