I walk down the street sighing. Today was a long day. My mom just got home from work and didn't make dinner. So, I had to walk down to Denny's and get my little sister,  Abby a burger and fries. She's only 10.
As im a few minutes from my house, I see the losers Club riding down the street with there bikes. Obviously, since we just moved to Derry, I would like some new friends. But, how do I approach them?
"Uh...hi," I say, as one of them drive by.
The blond curly-haired boy stops his bike and looks at me confused.
   "Hi." He says.
"Stanley, come on!" A boy with a broken arm calls out to him from down the street.
"Give me one second!" Stanley calls out. Cute name. "So, are you new?"
"Yeah, actually. Just went and got my little sister some food." I smile.
"Awe, maybe you'd wanna hang out with me and my friends later today? At the quarry?" He asks me.
I smile and nod. "Sounds good."
"Okay, see ya." He says.
"See ya." I watch him as he rides off.
Making friends while your new isn't so hard in Derry, huh?
