  Jaden Yuki was a new student at duel academy with his friend Syrus Truesdale. You were new also but were already on the island with your best friend Alexis Rhodes. You came outside with Alexis to meet her friend Mindy.

"Hey, Mindy!" Alexis yelled to get the attention of her friend.

"Alexis!" Mindy embraced Alexis in a tight hug for a few moments and that's when she saw you. "Oh, hello! What's your name?" She asked sweetly.

"Y/n," You replied softly. Mindy hugged you too, which you returned flustered. "Aw, how cute that was," she told you. You laughed and Alexis was happy you were getting along with Mindy. She hoped you could make more friends here, but she knew that would come in time.  Suddenly, Mindy spotted a person that got your attention.

"Hey, isn't that the kid who beat Dr. Crowler at the entrance exams?" You shifted your eyes to the brown haired boy along with a smaller, timid boy with turquoise hair. You blushed even more and hid behind Alexis, which confused her.

"Y/n, why are you hiding behind me?" Alexis asked.

"Cause, she's got a crush on him!" Mindy whispered yelled.

"Hey! Ok, maybe I do." You snapped playfully.

"See!" Mindy said while laughing.

"Y/n, you should talk to and get to know him more," Alexis suggested.

"I'll do that later," Your stomach growled and both girls looked down at you. You laughed nervously. "Well, I better get to my dormitory so I can eat."

"Alright then," Alexis replied.

"Aww! I was just getting to know you!" Mindy whined.

"Hehe. Don't worry, we can talk later." You told Mindy.

"Aww, ok. See ya around then!" Mindy yelled while she walked back to the Obelisk blue dorms. You got into Silfer Red due to your poor grades on the written portion of the entrance exam. If you were honest with yourself, you were a pretty lazy person but an extraordinary duelist. You continued to walk to the dorms until you saw a person you've known for too long.

"What's up Silfer Slacker?" He asked mockingly. Only the asshole named Chazz would say that.

"What do you want Chazz?" You asked as you crossed your arms.

"How did you get in this academy again?" He asked. Chazz knew how to push all the right buttons which he loves to do.

"Shut up Chazz! Go back to your snobby dorm and leave me alone. I have better things to worry about than you." You snapped at him. He chuckled and left. 'Man Chazz is an asshole!' You thought as you continued to walk to your dorm.
   It didn't take long for Professor Banner to come in and introduce himself. You didn't notice you were late for the dinner until you walked in. 'Oh shoot! I'm the only girl in this dorm!? You've got to be kidding me!' What made the situation worse was the only seat that was left was next to Jaden. You cursed under your breath "Dammit." You reluctantly sat down next to your crush and kept your head down so no one would see you blushing.

"So what's your name?" Banner asked in an enthusiastic tone. You banged your head against the table and sighed.

"M-My name is Y/n L/n." You reluctantly said.

"It's nice to meet you Y/n! Let us all eat!" Banner said while he had a shrimp on his fork. Jaden and Syrus ate everything in sight, while you watched Jaden intently. When they realized they didn't leave you any food behind, Jaden offered to get you dinner from the school cafe.

*~*~*~*~Later that night~*~*~*~*~

"So you're Y/n right?" Jaden asked.

"Yep." You replied. The silence started to get awkward until you blurted out, "You're very cute." You blushed at your words and looked away from Jadens gaze. Although you didn't know it, Jaden actually liked you ever since he first saw you duel in the entrance exams. You were pretty to Jaden, not to mention your dueling skills were awesome.

"Hey, you're cute too. You're like a Winged kuriboh!" You laughed at his remark and he continued "Well it's true! Ever since you dueled in the entrance exams you were awesome and sweet! You're moves were so cool, you have to show me some of them. I finally caught up to you my little winged kuriboh." Jaden turned you around and kissed your nose and then your lips. Even though it was a quick kiss, you could still feel the passion in it.

"YES! I CALLED IT!" Mindy yelled out from a bush. You blushed and Jaden laughed hardly.

"Let's get you something to eat." Jaden said between his laughs. You two were inseparable ever since that night and Mindy continued to ship you guys too hardly.

Ok, so NO I DONT HATE CHAZZ HE DESERVES A HUG. but like this takes place right at the start of Gx so yea.
