That was the day, that I wished I never went through...I had no idea...I wasn't ready, it had all happened so fast...
I ran downstairs to the sound of breaking glass...only to find my mother...having a stroke. Tears threatening to fall from my eyes I quickly ran to the counter to grab her phone, then I called 911.
Woman:" 911 what's your emergency?"
You:" P-please send an ambulance to xxxx as fast as you can, M-my mother is on the ground shaking s-she's having a stroke." You are trying so hard to not let the tears get the best of you.
Woman:"Alright, hang in there, one is on the way."
You:"T-thank you."My entire body is shaking as I hold the phone."Hang in there eomma, please..."
Inside the ambulance
You:"Eomma please stay with me! It will be okay!" I scream in the ambulance. I squeeze her hand tightly as her heart beat drops."Please! You can't let her die!" I was praying for my mother to stay with me.
Nurse:"It will be okay." She said as she tried to calm me down.
The entire way to the hospital I kept saying over and over again,'Please, please don't leave me eomma...'
I sit outside of the room on the bench waiting for the doctor to come out. My anxiety increasing as I heard the door creak open.
