They say pain is beauty
But they can't possibly be right
Beauty fades as pain takes hold
And light begins to die
We can try to fight
We can try to win
But the more damaged we are
The less beauty within
(This is my first poem. I hope you like it. They aren't gonna be very long. Just short little poems like this one. They may get longer as I continue to write and find inspiration, but I'm not sure yet.)
