It was quite a sunny day when Tara finished working her shift at Ultra-Mart and she was very tired that she doesn't even have the energy to roller-skate to her boyfriend's workplace.

Since Horatio works almost 24 hours/day. Tara was always the one who visits him during worktime.

On Saturdays & Sundays, they just cuddle, play games, or hang out with their friends, although Horatio works at saturday mornings they still got to spend time with each other quite often.

Tara slumped at the red velvet sofa in one of the booths at Double Tap.
Fanning herself, she looked at Horatio to see him giving her, her favorite Juice.

Smiling as she thanked him, "Hot day today huh?" He sat across her
"Tell me about it.."

He chuckled "Are you sure you don't wanna go home? Besides it's your last day at work before summer break, right?"

She nodded "As much as i wanna go back, i'd rather stay here with you" she grabbed his hand, intertwined them and kissed him on his cheek.

"Awww you guys...stop ittt!! You guys are so adorable!!" A voice squealed "I'm gonna dieee!!"
They turned around too find Brooke, and the rest of the gang here, except for Mc, Leah, & Ben.

"Ughh. Get ahold of yourself Brooke, i'm not your seat you can lean on" groaning, Sereena tries to fight her back, that brooke's leaning on.

Cole chuckled at the two "Not to bother you love birds but, may we have our seats please?"

Tara and Horatio scooted over, as they took their seats, they began chatting with each other about work and stuff.

"Why is it so hot today?!" Sereena groaned, Brooke nodded in agreement, tying her hair.
"Screw you sun!!" She added

"Good thing i didn't wear a long-sleeved shirt today" Cole muttered. Tara unbuttoned on of the buttons on her blue work shirt, drenched in sweat. Tara and Brooke both whined together "I want Ice creammm!" Suprised they look both each other in the eyes. Sereena who's sitting between them "No. God. Please no." She slapped her forehead in defeat.

Mark gets ready to cover his ears, as both of the girls squealed, that makes Sereena groan and slumped in her seat "Make it stop" she said weakly "I'm already dying of the sun and now i'm dying again because of them"

Horatio chuckled and grabbed Tara's hand, she looked at him in confusion "Then, let's get some!" He said she beamed and hugged him "Really?! But what about your work?" "Don't worry, my shift is over in like 2 more mins"

She squealed again "Yayy!" "Oh! Oh! I wanna come with!" Brooke raised her hand and jumping up and down in her seat, making Sereena more agitated "Will you stop that?" She growled, Brooke hugged her shoulders "Okay! But only if you'll go with us!"

Sereena shaked her head and sighed "Fine!"
"It's hot anyways."

When they're at the car. Brooke suddenly jumped in the backseat "What now?" Sereena said groaning, While bucking her seatbelt in the backseat.

"What if. I got a lime sparkling water instead?!"
Sereena facepalmed "I don't care what you want, just stop that!" She scolded her,
Tara giggled and glanced at the backseat "Yeah, you can buy anything you want you know."

"Hmm..." "Ugh." Sereena muttered
"Nevermind, i'll just get ice cream instead"

Silence overcomes the car for a minute before suddenly, Brooke jumped up and turned to Sereena and said "But what flavor will i get?!"
Before Sereena get to say anything Brooke cut her off and said "And what will i choose, the cone or cup? Or bread??"
"For the last time Brooke. I don't care what you're going to get"

"Hmph, okay i'll just ask Tara instead!"
"Good." Sereena muttered.
"Tara?"
Brooke called
"Yea?"
"What flavor are you getting?"
"Hmm..well i usually go for a mix of Chocolate & Strawberry, and i'm not planning on choosing any other flavors" she smiled at Brooke.

"Okay, interesting, Horatio?"
"Well i rarely ate sweet things but..i gues Dark chocolate?"
Brooke hummed, and sat back looked at Sereena and got cut off by her "If you're thinking of asking me again i swear i will jump off this car"

Brooke silenced herself and whispered "Okay."

When they got to the drive-thru, they each tell their orders swiftly except for Brooke.
Sereena scolded her for ordering too long, "Brooke! Order faster! There's this stupid old man behind us honking his stupid, ugly red car at us"
Horatio nodded "Yeah, Brooke you might wanna pick up the pace"

After a long 10 mins of ordering, they finally got their ice creams and went home.

On the way home, Horatio and Tara dropped off Brooke & Sereena to their apartment and left.

Sighing Horatio licked his ice cream and said "It's been a long day" Tara nodded before staring at him, laughing "What's so funny?"

She reached out to Horatio's cheek and licked the ice cream on him "Mmm..tastes good, dark choco is not half-bad at all" she smiled playfully at him which made him blushed "You sure are a messy eater Horatio." She giggled.

Horatio kissed her lips, to her suprise she kissed him back, pulling back he said "Tastes sweet" he smiled "i know." She grinned and leaned her head on his shoulders. Continuing to eat her ice cream.

Soon Tara drifted off to sleep with Horatio carrying her to their shared-bedroom in their apartment which is a few-blocks away from Brooke, Sereena, & Mc's apartment.
