It was early in the morning and we just did the ' Talking Shit' video before we both went to the hospital.
" Yeah, imma just drop this bitch today." He said back.
My phone started ringing and I quickly answered Diamond call.
" How she doing?" I said before she could get anything out.
I heard crying and got scared.
" K imma talk ta you later." I grabbed my car keys and hopped up.
Quickly getting in my car, I started it and made my way towards the hospital.
" Her h-h-heart stopped this morning, I-I left to go take a shower and stuff, then when I come back that's what they said." She stuttered.
I dropped my phone and just stayed there.
" Ben please come see her one last time, I'm sorry about the stuff I did. I'm sorry you didn't spend as much time with her. I'm sorry." She cried.
I just stayed there, silently. My first child and I couldn't even be there for her, then when I finally am— she die.
Multiple beeps from traffic snapped me out of my trance and I grabbed my phone and headed towards the hospital as planned.
