" What room is Kayli Janae Loveless in?" I asked the receptionist.
" Room 110, go straight and turn the corner going right." She gave directions.
I listened to her and quickly went that way.
" Whew, God is good. My baby back." Kayli mama walked up to me.
" I thought she died?" I said wiping my face and switching Taytay to my other hip.
" She did.. for four minutes. They didn't hear her heartbeat but they put her on some breathing machines before it was too late." She said reaching for Taylin.
" Can me and Taytay see her first? Then he can come home with you?"
She nodded and we went into her hospital room.
" Ma." He reached for her. I looked at him shocked and smiled.
" Say it again." I wiped a tear. " Ma." He laughed showing his dimples.
I pulled my chair closer to her and held her hand.
" I'm sorry Kayli." The doctor came in and smiled.
" We're monitoring her heart from another room and her rate increased. Keep doing whatever you're doing young man, we pray for a fast recovery." He nodded.
" Thank y-you." I looked down and played with my fingers.
He left the room and I checked my phone.

I blew out a breath of frustration and put my phone in my pocket.
" Kentrell Desean Gaulden, you're under arrest for attempted murder of Kayli Janae."
He pointed his gun at me while the other grabbed Taylin. They handcuffed me while I just shook my head.

" I'm sorry Kayli." The voice sounded farther and farther back.
" KAYLI!" Somebody screamed as they shook me.
" KAYLI!" They screamed again.
I opened my eyes and shot up.
