Dear Caden,
Remember that day when our professor for the last subject didn’t able to make it to class so we got to go home early?
You asked me if I could come with you to the seaside belt just a mile away from school.
I had never been that excited in my life.
We buried our feet on the sand as we sat on the boulders. Neither of us dared to say a word. It was like the scene before us seemed to be hypnotic so we just stared at the vast sea. It was past afternoon and the sun was preparing to set. The sky was getting darker with shades of lilac, red-orange and crimson.
Finally, you cut the silence and told me that you had an argument with your father about college. I know how much you loved to cook and be known in the field of culinary arts.
“Dad wants me to work for our growing business. I never wanted to manage a clothing company and I just can’t fake it.” You said.
Before I could even answer or at least say something about it you immediately throw me a question.“What about you? Any plans?”
“I’m not yet sure.” Though I know that I’m a hundred and one percent sure that I’m taking Arts.
“I know what you’d become in the future.” You answered.
I returned a puzzled look.
“You would be my wife.”
…. And that very moment, you just got my heart out of my chest.
