this is a girlxgirl story, of you're not comfortable, I apologize, this is not the story for you.
"Ashton Eizabeth Tyler! Get down here RIGHT NOW!" Mother hollered up the stairs at me. Again. This was about the 3rd time, and she seemed pretty pissed.
"I'M COMING, MOM!" I shouted back, after several seconds. Jeez, maybe I might actually listen this time. I ran down the stairs and plopped on the floor in front of mother as she glared down at me. She was right pissed, as I guessed.
"Yes?" I questioned, with slight laughter in my voice.
"You need to take your sister to the park. I told you this over an hour ago, she's getting restless and I need to cook, for Christs sake! I've told you this several times!"
"Okay, mom"

"Kayla! Stop throwing rocks! You know better!" I called from the bench I was sitting to my little sister. I looked around the park looking for someone, anyone, to make friends with before school started in a couple days. A group of girls passed, all with the brightest teeth, shiniest blond hair, and striking blue eyes. The tallest one shot me a dirty look and laughed among her friends as if I was the butt of their joke.
I probably was.
I looked back over to, once again, seeing my sister throwing rocks at a little boy. "Kayla Marie! Stop that!" I jogged over lightly to slap her hand and apologize to the adult responsible for the child. I looked up to see luscious brown hair in tight waves, a grin the size of her face that led right up to a perfect button nose. I couldn't make up to her eyes, I could not.make eye contact with such a beautiful girl.
"S-sorry about that... She doesn't on-know any b-better." I stammered out to the lovely brunette above me, as I made myself look busy brushing Kayla off.
"Oh, don't worry about it, dear, she probably didn't mean it." She coped with a voice like honey. I looked up to see her rushing the little boy away to a group of girls. They were all gorgeous, but none shone quite like her.
That's when I realized they were pointing and laughing at me. I looked down to see if there was something on me- and, of course, there was. I was covered in mud. It was all over my black vans and Levi jeans. There were even a few splatters on my black tee. Wait, no, that was Kayla's food from earlier.
God, great first impression Ashton.
I immediately rushed Kayla home in a fit of embarrassment.
"But I don't wanna go home, Ash!" She whined, kicking her feet and sniffling.
"Too bad, it's getting late and you need a bath." I replied,

Once everyone else was in bed, I snuck downstairs and got on the computer. I searched popular trends and clothing stores and immediately began to take notes on everything I should know.

I went and bought a bunch of clothes at the mall the next day with my mum and siblings, I had to pick out nice clothing to make good first impressions this year. I shopped mostly at Forever 21 and Hot Topic, of course, because those were two I picked out from the computer the night prior. I got a bunch of accessories and a straightening iron as well.
When I had gotten home, I attempted to straighten my hair, and gave up after 10 minutes of horrible attempts. My hair was still quite curly. I sighed and shut the thing off and headed back to the computer to research some more.
