When Serena got home, she rushed to get to the dinner table. She sat down and drank some water. Her mom, Alexa, was conversationally inviting the neighbors to dinner. The Salumba's were a poor family. Frank, Serena's father, was the one to make the dinner. He made stuffed peppers. That is hamburger meat stuffed into colored peppers.
Then, Sally and Andrew, the older siblings ran in. They got on very sensual clothing, so they would look nice. Frank was in a lot of stress. He had made a nice dinner for 7 other people then himself and he didn't receive one thank you. The Salumbas and the Crackanos said grace and then digged into their dish. Serena started texting. Mrs. Salumba took away her phone. Serena wanted to talk about her day, but obviously she wasn't allowed to go before her older siblings.
Then at that moment Serena couldn't take it anymore. " Do I even exist?? I have sat here for 20 shitty minutes waiting for my turn at the spotlight!!!" screamed Serena. Serena stomped out of the room in total disgrace.
