"Honey! I'm home!" I call out to my beautiful wife. I drop the keys in the small bowl next to the entrance, and put my jacket on the coat rack. The smoke alarm goes off.
"Sorry hun! Bloody smoke detector! Can't take a little bit of steam from the pasta. Anything really. So how was your day?" Amelia asks, still getting all the boiling water out of the pot, while I walk down the split stairs.
"Good. I booked us a holiday to Greece!" Not joking - I did. But I booked a one person flight there instead of a two. And, I also bought a house there. You guessed it! I'm fleeing there as soon as I kill her.
"Honey no way!" She runs over to me and hugs me by the waist. "That's awesome, thank you!"
"No problem." I say, with a big grin I just can not wipe off my face.
"Look hun, I'm just going to go to the toilet, really got to go, but can you please serve up the spaghetti bolognese? Be in the dining room as soon as I can. ASAIC. Good bye!" When she heads towards the bathroom, I turn around and give the sneakiest grin I can.
Here's my masterous plan: I'll serve up my own first. I'll sprinkle the parmesan cheese on the top so I know it's mine, as Amelia doesn't eat cheese. I put a parsley leave on top. Then I go to Amelia's. I put the pasta in first, without any extras. I then however pour the poison into the frypan where the bolognese sits, and mix it until its not noticable. I put it on top of the pasta, with a parsley leave on top. I put both plates on the dining table, as though I had just served a meal. I then sit at my chair after preperation, the small bottle between my legs, unnoticable. Amelia comes out and sits at the dining table. Let's watch this baby cook!
