The castle touched onto the ground. "We informed all the countries heads that we will be landing, So they put it out to their people so they won't get scared. Everyone took turns to see their families. Pidge was happy to see her mother again, Hunk was in tears. Shiro was extremely happy, Lance was flooding tears, and then it was Kacey's turn. The castle landed on an open field on the country side, The lights were on. She ran to the door and rang the doorbell about 30 times before stopping. She saw a figure, an unfamiliar one. A man in a suit opened the door. "Who are you?" He asked. "I'm Kacey Evans. I live here with my mum, dad and siblings." Said Kacey. "Oh yes, your mother and siblings are here. I can't say the same for your father though." Kacey's heart sank. "Your father was shot and killed at the Garrison after he tried to get information about your whereabouts. I'm your stepfather, Edward." Said Edward. Kacey felt a tear trickle down her cheek. She began to shake. She ran towards the castle clearly upset. She rushed to the centre room where everyone is and sat down, her eyes bloodshot and filled with tears. "No.. No.. He can't be dead. He just can't.." She mumbled to herself. Shiro walked over and kneeled down in front of Kacey. "Kacey? Are you okay?" He asked. Kacey hugged Shiro, Her eyes full of tears. "My dad.. He's dead, Shiro.. Papa is dead." Said Kacey, shaking. Shiro looked extremely sad. Not as much as Kacey though. "Do you want me to come with you? If you don't want to that's fine. We can go now if you wish." Said Shiro comfortingly. Kacey nodded. She wiped away the tears and walked back outside with Shiro. She walked past her stepfather and called for her mother and siblings. 5 children and her mother came running down the stairs. They all came in for a hug. "So, Your stepfather told you about your papa?" Said Kacey's mother. Kacey nodded. "I don't trust him Mama.. He looks, cruel.. and mean. His grey eyes looked so cold." Said Kacey. Kacey's mother nodded "He's better than no father at all." After a few minutes of silence Kacey got up. "I've got to go Mama.. I'm sorry.. Everyone needs me." She said, upset to leave her mother again. Kacey's mother hesitated but nodded. Kacey walked out with Shiro. Kacey was still crying but not as much. She locked herself in her room for days. (Only going out for food and toilet breaks) nobody has seen her for days, Everyone was concerned about her. Once day Lance knocked on the door. "Kacey? I know your deeply upset about you dad.. But you need to come out.. If you stay like this.. You might go insane." Said Lance. Kacey opened the door. She locked eyes with Lance, she had bags under her eyes, bloodshot eyes and marks from the tears. Lance pulled her out into the corridor and hugged her. "It's okay. Your going to be fine." He sat her down and sat down next to her. "If you need to talk, I am here." Said Lance. Kacey felt mildly better and put her head on his shoulder. Hunk walked out into the corridor they were sitting in and looked at them. "Uhhhhh.. Should I go?" Asked Hunk, awkwardly. Lance shrugged "Stay if you want, go if you need. We're fine either way." Said Lance a little jokingly. Kacey picked up the tone and smirked a little. Hunk awkwardly waddled down the corridor until he was out of sight.
